Day off work today to chill out (otherwise known as doing as much house cleaning and ironing as possible to survive next week) before heading out to Starfury's The Vampire Ball 4 @ The Thistle, Heathrow (but we'd opted to stay in The Sheraton opposite - a nicer hotel and it worked out cheaper too).

The journey up was loooong - I'd decided to get a cab but (a) left later than expected (around 4pm) and (b) it was bucketing down with rain. So EPIC traffic and I didn't get there 'til 6pm. But still plenty of time to hop in the shower and get warm, and then sit and chill out catching up with rhade_rad until Ragnall arrived. Decent dinner via room service and we were all set to head over to the con.

I've just realised I went to the first Starfury Vampire Ball (26-28 November 2010) which was an epic line up (Chris Kane, Steve Carlson, Allan Hyde, Keith Sarabjaka, Juliet Landau, Clare Kramer, Brody Hutzler, Dayne Johnson, Georges Jeanty and Jonathan Woodward). And I never wrote it up properly. I can remember laughing so hard at that one at several points that I couldn't actually breathe. Hum. Must go back and make an entry about why it was so much fun!
