(a) a nice Ruby (S4) or Ruby/Sam icon.
(b) a decent Ellen (SPN) icon.

Thanks to all your previous help I now have a bazillion Ronon iconses. I just have to upload them. *beams* I could fill my quota of user pics about 15 times over. *koff* The word moderation is not in my vocabulary. *koff*

Returned - as regards the last 6 days?

The Good:
Family: doing as well as can be expected. Gossip from the maternal unit (when quizzed about family tree) reveals that Great-Grandad S was a preacher man. OMG. Chapel preacher. Eeeep! Movies worth seeing: Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang; The Dreamers and Take the Lead. Food worth cooking: fennel & carrot salad (and remember to add the OJ and raisins because - YUM!), stuffed mushrooms. The Route: always take the M6 Toll Road

The Bad:
Family: remember to phone maternal unit otherwise she will have you dead and buried by a mad axe murder, or in a morgue due to major traffic accident. Saying "I'll be there on Sunday between 12 and 2pm" no longer suffices - panic will ensue without confirmatory phone calls. Movies so bad they're a waste of cash: Stepford Wives - OMG WTF with the fricking HUGE plot holes and gaping inconsistencies and total lack of funny or irony or anything making it worth watching? The Grudge with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jason Behr - has to be the front runner for worst movie ever made. One more fade to black cut and I'd have punched the screen clear through. Weak story, shoddy direction, wooden dialogue, even more wooden acting and barely a scary moment in sight. Food: fried breakfasts are not my forte *g* The route: never, ever trust the M6 - traffic jams from nowhere even at 11:30pm, the M1 is royally stuffed for carriage widening until 2008 (yes two whole years) from Junction 11 south. DO NOT GO THIS WAY!

The best: 5 days of complete R&R
The worst: listen to ravurian when he offers advice. You know you'll regret it if you don't.

Ok peeps...am running away.

May just be checking e-mail intermittently but most likely not.

In under 12 hours I can blow this place and head for the hills. Of course, I haven't yet done my washing, cleaned the pit, or packed, and I'm due at work in something between 1-2 hours, depending on whether I start early or late (my money is currently on late). But I have a plan!

08:00-09:15 - run around cleaning, washing, packing
09:15-14:00 - work work work work
14:00-16:30 - training session (consider skipping out at 16:00)
16:30-17:30 - collect car, get home
17:30-18:30 - finish packing, cleaning and running around
19:00-19:30 - drop house keys at ex's with a note - please feed cats!
19:30-20:00 - run run run run away!

Worst case scenario? Dirty washing comes with me and gets dumped at the launderette tomorrow *g* (Good plans always have a back up).

In other news? CK has been playing golf again (I'm British, golf is a game one plays not a verb) and judging by what he's wearing? He slept over at Dave's the night before and had to raid his wardrobe for clothes. *shakes head* *eyes that shirt* Wtf?!

It's been a while but it's finally dawning that I'm running on empty at the moment.

Decidedly odd because things are going well - there's no real reason to be running on empty - but apparently I am.

The final straw is when the startling revelations about writing and characterisation hit at 3am and it's too late to do anything about it.

Time to take a break.

So forewarning - because I have the attention span of a goldish and if I don't post this now I may forget *G*!

As of Wednesday 12th I'll be off-line (as in totally off-line, not reachable on LJ or by e-mail) and am unlikely to be back until Wednesday 19th - running away to a place there is no phone and no internet access. Not dead, not sulking, just taking an Easter vacation.
