Is it my fault if in clearing up the house I just happen to have the Firefly Official Companion next to me on the sofa (which includes episode transcripts)? It is en route to be stored away on a shelf.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time today filling in job applications (three down, loads more to do). I've also decided, fuck it, that I'm applying for anything that (a) looks entertaining, (b) is for a decent organisation and (c) that having reviewed my finances I can take a hit on salary if the job fulfils both (a) and (b) above. Please keep your fingers crossed otherwise I'll be emigrating to Wales by summer and hoping to rent the London flat out for the next 9-12 months!

Having been productive I'm now going to go back a farmhouse fruit cake, heat up the chicken stew noms, line up some TV to watch and continue tidying the casa.

Also it is freakig cold today. Brrrrrr.
