Talk about dodgÂing cinÂeÂmatÂic bulÂlets. ImagÂine The GodÂfaÂther withÂout MarÂlon BranÂdo. It almost hapÂpened. And then Star Wars with Kurt RusÂsell (playÂing Han Solo). It was a real enough posÂsiÂbilÂiÂty, and here’s the audiÂtion tape as proof…

DodgÂing a bulÂlet? Kurt RusÂsell would probÂaÂbly have been a good Han Solo…at least, it’s easÂiÂer to see him in the role than Tom SelÂlÂeck as IndiÂana Jones…
Yeah, I don’t see the bulÂlet either. I hind sight, this might even be type castÂing in regard to Kurt RusÂsell. MostÂly it seems like nothÂing gained, nothÂing lost. RusÂsell is pretÂtiÂer, so that could enhance the love stoÂry attracÂtion.
@Thom excuÂuÂuÂuÂuse me! but harÂriÂson ford is *was* way more handÂsome and charmÂing than kurt rusÂsell.
i don’t think this is exactÂly a “dodge a bulÂlet” sitÂuÂaÂtion… but i think harÂriÂson ford is han solo, and anyÂone else probÂaÂbly would have made the charÂacÂter less interÂestÂing. think about it, in one decade the man was han solo, indiÂana, deckard and john book. kurt rusÂsell doesÂn’t even come close that.
