Welcome to the round up of posts you might have missed this week on Smorgasbord.
I hope everyone is doing well and having a good weekend. Nothing much to report on the home front, a couple of nice days and one coincided with a full day powercut in our area for maintenance, so we headed off to Powerscourt House and Gardens, one of our favourite spots. Their cafe serves fresh homemade hot mains plus a choice of three salads filled with fresh local produce, never a disappointment and with a view that is fabulous. Wonderful shopping too for a wide range of Irish made or inspired clothes, books, houswares and food. Recently they have added their own whisky distillery that you can tour and so if you are visiting Dublin well worth making this a stop on your travels. Powerscourt House and Gardens
Here is the view from the cafe with avian diners and the Japanese Garden.
