Dragons!
Thanks to
marciaelena,
foxestacado and
shoelacedreamer for the cool blue dragons. He kind of looks like Elliott from Disney's Pete's Dragon. I know two out of three of you I just mentioned are way too young to have perhaps seen that movie. Jim Dale is great in that film.
I watched Billy Crystal's opening number for the Oscars tonight, and then shut it off. I haven't seen any of the films. The orchestra was way too loud during his opening song (or his mike was too low) which meant most of the jokes in the song weren't heard.
Today my GF put down a special colorant and sealant on the grout in the tile in the bathroom floor, making it look new. I painted the bathroom door and the closet doors in the living room, and packed up my desktop computer and my GF took apart my desk.
Things are inching ever closer to actually putting this place on the market, which is when my anxiety rises. I'm already getting nerves just thinking about moving to a whole other state, where I will refuse to call soda "pop." Just, no. I have a feeling there will be lots of seltzer in my future.
In quick TV news, does anyone besides me watch Unsupervised, the animated show that comes on after Archer Thursdays on FX? No? Well, Russ in my icon is my favorite character. It's about two best friends in high school, who, despite being poor and having no parental supervision to speak of, are actually really positive about life and their futures. It's completely opposite of what is expected in a show like that. Well, I know hardly any of you watch as much animation as I do, but if you get a chance to watch it, do.
