FOX ON THE RUN

BERJAYA

This morning Ron & I walked the trail
because Daddy Jim has come down with a cold.
The first thing we encountered were these two guys
enjoying their bikes twisting and turning
almost like a dance.

BERJAYA

I had just finished remembering
my Doodle Dance
in the garden
while sniffing these white violets and

BERJAYA

white forget-me-nots

BERJAYA

and yellow corydalis when

BERJAYA

in front of me from out of the fog and mist
appeared this fox.

BERJAYA

Off s/he scampered keeping an ever vigilant eye on me.
I'm 9 years old now,
I don't run like mad anymore
unless I want to re-injure my paw.

BERJAYA

so I sniffed the dew drenched red clover
letting the fox high tail it out of here.

BERJAYA

When I got back home ~

BERJAYA

I looked down at my paw that gives me some issues somedays
and wondered if I could have caught up to the fox.
Me thinks I couldn't
and that's OK with me
I have plenty of sniffing to do in the garden anyway!

DRIFTWOOD & CLOVER

BERJAYA

Focused as usual along my trail
now covered in clover
 sprinkled in daisies!

BERJAYA

Follow me and I will show you
my find,
my discovery!

BERJAYA

First a FULL 90 degree downward SNIFF!

BERJAYA

as completely all intoxicating

BERJAYA

as even a simple group of stones
with a mini-palm tree
(at least in my Doodle mind, it is!)

BERJAYA

Ron's arm was a bit wonky as he clicked me here.

BERJAYA

OK, what is that over there,
all alone by itself?

BERJAYA

Oh a silver white tree stump surviving the storms / gales / floods
so relentless in these parts.

BERJAYA

But as I have always said,
"Find your clover and you'll find your happy place"

so enjoy a wee bit of happiness with this remix!
