Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy and Sunny for Nature Friday!!

We are seeing lots and lots of Clematis!

Along our fenceline, Landlady Maryanne's Roses are blooming!

We are so excited to see that Farmer Will has finally planted in the field near our house. We know the farmers are having a very hard time this year. Hopefully, things will be better for them for next years' planting season. These are tomato plants and it's raining now so they are getting a nice refreshing drink!

As we turned onto our street, a lady up ahead of us was walking her Golden Retriever. We have never seen her before and her dog clearly wanted to meet me and didn't seem to want to budge until he did. She asked us to please head down another street so she could walk her dog home. Mom told her that we live just ahead of where she was standing but she wasn't taking no for an answer so we turned down another street. Stoopid woman. Why couldn't I say Hi to her very handsome dog!

Sunday Walk on Monday

Yesterday was a beautiful day and we were up on a street called New England Drive!

Along the way we found a pretty pink wild Rose~

The Honeysuckle smells glorious as it's everywhere and smells so incredibly fragrant!

We found the coolest rock that's above my head at the end of the cul-de-sac on this street!

We discovered a Kousa Dogwood still in bloom~

A very pretty Veronica was blooming away~

Mom wanted to get my picture with the Marigolds but my attention was on a bird and she told me to, "Look at ME, Duke!"

Birdies are always more important than picture taking, am I right?!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

We walk past this house a lot and they never weedwack around the rocks near the road and it always looks so messy. Today, we notice the Vetch!

Mom forgot that she had saved these pictures so here they are~

The Wood Poppy was blooming awhile back.

The Trout Lily was in bloom too - another yellow flower. We have to walk a bit later to see the flowers open.

We notice a beautiful Geranium in this garden~

The Weigelia was in bloom~

Guess who we saw coming out of the pond! Snappy!

At home, we have lots of color in our garden~

Sunday Walk on Monday

Before we get into our walk, we have to congratulate those who chose my messy bangs look. Juney was the one who inspired mom to do something about them when she mentioned lotion. Mom spent hours on YouTube watching videos. She saw on FB that lots of peeps with field bred English Cocker Spaniels like to leave the bangs long to gather them in a ponytail or make a braid, etc. Not for me!
