The Home For Wayward Cats

Currently due South Big Bang is at 17,679 words. I have until 12:55 tonight local time to finish the rest of it. I'll have about two hours after I get home tonight to do it. Yeah, baby, this thing is done. 'Cause I can bang out 2,321 in two hours. No prob.

How's this for a summary?

FRTDNEATJ, Ray has been turned into his totem animal. Fraser has to figure out how to undo the transformation. Dief begs for Twinkies. Fraser/Kowalski, R for minor descriptions of violence (might possibly be bumped up to NC17), no warnings.

glitteryv is probably gonna get mad at me for that. *sigh* Anyone want to take a stab at it? *g*

LJ is misbehaving for some of us - I can't view my flist at all, I just get a weird unknown compression type error. I opened a ticket, along with a bunch of other people. We'll see what happens. *kicks LJ*

After tonight, I'll be able to work on what I really want to write, which may or may not turn into my entry for bandombigbang wave 2 entry. Not sure I've got the confidence to sign up for BBB. But this particular story is gonna get written, BBB or not. *is excite*

For the go-live date, they had a teaser-trailer done. And now, they've finished podficcing the whole damn story. That's 2 hours and 42 minutes worth of due South apocalypse fic.

( Suicidal insects... )

I have these modern windows that open from the bottom and the top - and I leave the top cracked to help circulate the air. Normally, there would be a mesh screen to keep the suicidal insects out, but the Ginormous Dog of Doom keeps ripping the screens out of the windows and shredding them...my life, it is filled with difficulties.

And don't ask me about the cauliflower. That's a post for another day. Maybe a day without a looming ds_c6d_bigbang deadline.

Fuck, another big insect just got in. I'm turning off the light and going to bed.
