Okay, back to business! Does anyone remember this? Well, now it has more chapters, which means more material to report on!


Story Title: The Pyromaniac I've Become.
Culprit Author's Name: Azure's Jester.
Summary: "Thanks to a MinishHylian girl's folly, Ganondorf has broken from his seal! and this time, he's not alone! Hazel goes on a journey similar to Link's in OoT. Dragonlance, OoT, MM, FSA, WW, and Kid Icarus crossover." (Yikes, if Inuyasha, Pokemon or some other random anime was added in, this would be a crossover of DOOM. Oh, and the summary was changed. It's now understandable.)
Number of Chapters: It is now up to six. It was last updated today.
Canon: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Minish Cap crossover, but Zelda and Link look like their Wind Waker selves. The Suethor doesn't "Like the way they look in Ocarina of Time", and thinks that "They look funny." Also, Hyrule "[I]s located on the Dragonlance planet of Krynn."

Sue Rating:

I now sort of feel sorry for giving this fic such a rating, as the writing itself isn't that bad, save for some inconsistencies, plot holes and little errors, but this fic still earns a 4. The crossovers of death and the giant amount of Sues (even though we have only met three so far) are still the main reason for such a high rating, but the fact that a lot of ideas were ripped off from OoT (The Picori Sword that Hazel later receives in chapter 5 is a fine example) and that Hazel's mission of making the Skull Kid meet Link and start the events of MM was never mentioned again added to it. The sad thing, though, is that the writer is capable of writing something other than Sueish crap. In fact, if this was an original story, I would've really liked it, especially if Hazel was tweaked up a little bit.

Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: Well, Hazel has to make it so that Skull Kid meets Link in the Lost Woods so that the events of Majora's Mask take place. She also lived with Cremia and Romani on Romani Ranch before she left off on her adventure. In the third chapter, Ezlo tells Hazel that she has to find the "Seven Oracles" (See 'Misc. Notes'). Rose is Zelda's friend/bodyguard.
Annoying Special Abilities: Hazel is an "inexperienced ten-year-old sword-wielder." And says this herself in the first chapter. Rose has a stare "that makes you squirm, that makes you feel as if she was peering into your soul", can transport to places (this doesn't count as an annoying special ability, however, as all Sheikah can do this. I just felt like listing it anyway), and, according to Hazel, has "royal influence, intelligence, grace, mastery with a sword, (she even had two swords!) and beauty." Sapphira was introduced in the latest chapter, so it is uncertain if she has any abilities as of right now.
Other Annoying Traits: Hazel became a pyromaniac after her parents froze during a very cold winter, and proves this by burning down the little house she was living in on Romani Ranch. ... Um, okay, it's obvious that she has some issues that she needs to talk about. She's also the "Oracle of Life", whatever that is, and eventually go through events that mirror Link's journey in OoT. Rose and Sapphira are also Oracles, and Sapphira is shunned by both the Minish and Hylians for being a mix. She is pretty harmless other than that so far.

Grammar/Spelling: Actually, the grammar is very good so far in this fic. Still one of the only things positive about this.
Misc. Notes: The A/Ns are BREEDING, ARGH. She also continues to hold future chapters ransom until she gets more reviews. Oi. Four out of the five reviews are by her friend (she actually made one or two of the Sues), so isn't that pretty pointless?

On another note, the Suethor explains that "[T]here were seven Oracles that sealed away Vaati in the Picori Blade. He had been slowly leaking out of his seal because Oracles weren’t at their respective temples. Hazel has to awaken four Oracles in their temples (yes, four, not five like Link had to find) and seal Vaati away. Because only six Oracles were needed to seal him away, Vaati is attempting to kill two of them. Before she could awaken them, she’d need the Picori Blade. Before she can get the Picori Blade, she has to get three stones of the Minish. It had been her parents’ duty to guard the Stones so no evil can get the Picori Blade." ... Um, okay.

Anyway, onto today's Sue. You know about those kind of fans who are really, really, really obsessed with a celebrity, right? Like, the kind who write real-person fic about them, do everything they do, stalk them, etc.? Well, the Suethor of this story seems to be that way with Shania Twain, as she modeled two of her Sues after her. Oh yes, there's more than one Sue today. There's six.

Those are her only traits, basically. She also gets to be part of a special ceremony Hyrule apparently has every 1,000 years when one of the girls who was supposed to be in the ceremony turned out to have died a few years before, and Zelda picks her out as a replacement because she somehow knew her name. (Even Zelda doesn't know how she knows. Wha?)

Grammar/Spelling: The grammar, spelling and writing style in this fanfiction is great! This is extremely hard to find in fics these days, especially in places such as The Pit and on little kiddie forum such as the one I found this fic on. The inconsistency in the first and second chapters and the self-insert are the only real problems in this fanfiction.
Misc. Notes: The names of the bullies seem to change in the second chapter. O.o (In the 4Kids forum version, at least. The mistake is changed in the version posted on FF.net.) Also, Amber is a total self-insert. The author even says that Amber is her. Bleh. At least the author isn't going to pair Amber up with Link, as she told this to a rapid Link fangirl who posted on her thread before ch. 5. Speaking of the thread, the author said that she had posted all of the story at The Pit. So yeah.

I'm going to give this one a 3. As of right now, both of the Sues just seem to be... There. And are pretty much copies of Link and Zelda, only from Termina. The summary says that one of them will eventually end up with Link, though. I'm guessing it'll be Syrina, the main Sue. (If that's so, then would that mean that Marina would be with Zelda? Yum, hot lesbian sex!)

Full Name (plus titles if any): Syrina; Marina. Since there are six new Sages, more of 'em are expected to appear.
Full Species(es): Carbon copy of Link with boobs; Princess of Termina. (Termina doesn't even have a royal family, not including the Deku and Ikana families.)

Eye Color: Neither of their eye colors are mentioned. I'm assuming that Syrina has blue eyes, since she's supposed to look like Link and all.

Annoying Special Abilities: Neither have any so far, although Marina seems to know a lot about Syrina and Majora for some reason. Anyone want to bet she's a stalker?
Other Annoying Traits: They're copies of Link and Zelda, basically. (... SyrinaxMarina, anyone?)

Grammar/Spelling: Run-on sentences can easily be found roaming around this fic, and commas are now an endangered species. There's also many weird spelling mistakes abound, such as "excat". (Wtf, dude?) So, yeah, the grammar and spelling in this fic are meh.
Misc. Notes: The flashbacks in the first chapter are in bold and italics. Now, a few words in bold an italics are okay, but whole paragraphs? It makes one's eyes hurt after a while. Ow. Also, Syrina doesn't appear until the second chapter, and Marina first shows up in the third chapter. The first chapter is still quite sporkable, however, with all of the silly run ons and spelling mistakes and all. Oh, and according to the Suethor, the Happy Mask Salesman's first name is Happy, Naryu is really named Naru and Lon Lon is one word. Did anyone else know this?!

Link seems somewhat OOC in this one, too. I mean, yeah, he is calm most of the time, and doesn't show a lot of emotions, but you'd expect him to feel pretty angry/sad if his friends, the Sages, were all being killed off by Ganon, right? He seems calm about their deaths in the fic. Yes, even about the death of Saria, his friend that he knew for most of his life.

Then again, I could be the only one who thinks this.

Worst of This Story:

'Kay, I tweaked up the profile page a bit, and I've finally made up a rating system! Yay!

Story Title: More Than A Theif (Let me guess, she's a ninja/founder of a religion/water demon/beastbender/clone of Chuck Norris/catgirl too, right?)

Summary: "Fate had tortured her in the past,making her into a theif.She decides to steal a sacred item from the temple and Link is trying to find her.Hiding her face will not save her from more than capture."
Number of Chapters: 3. It hasn't been updated since last September, so it's unlikely that it'll be updated ever again.
Canon: Ocarina of Time, it seems. I think it might be when Link is an adult, but if that's so, why the HELL is the Triforce still in the Temple of Time?! If this Suethor had ever played the game, she would have known that Ganondorf obtains the Triforce shortly after Link is asleep for seven years. It's common fandom knowledge! There's the possibility that the fic takes place during another Legend of Zelda game, but since OoT is like Final Fantasy VII of Zelda, it's unlikely.

Full Name (plus titles if any): Isabel. (Is that supposed to be a clever spelling of Isabelle?) She is also sometimes called "Isa."
Full Species(es): Hylian?
Hair Color: For once, the hair color isn't mentioned. Her hair is in a braid, though.
Eye Color: Grey eyes. When Link first meets the Sue, he thinks that they're the "angriest, prettiest grey eyes he had ever seen." Bleh.

Special Possessions: The Triforce, which now has the three Spiritual Stones embedded into each piece, a wrap that she wears around her face, and a scar on her face.
Annoying Origin: Not mentioned. It's pretty obvious that this Sue is going to be a "mysteeeeeeerious past full of ANGST and WONDER!!!11!", especially because of the summary and all.
Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: Meets Link in the first chapter after (literally) running into him. Will most likely become his "twu wuv!" in later chapters.
Annoying Special Abilities: She can steal the Triforce from the freaking Temple of Time! Then again, the Temple of Time must be pretty different if it now has monks. Waah, why must Suethors ignore canon?!
Other Annoying Traits: There's nothing else really annoying about her, really, which is odd. For one thing, she actually feels bad about how it's her fault that Hyrule Town is burned down in the third chapter, which makes her more than an omgimatoughiethiefrawr!Sue. Also, Link doesn't fall head over heels for her, which is good.

Grammar/Spelling: The grammar is okay. A few mistakes, one of which is getting "they're" mixed up with "their". *shudder* I have to say, the grammar and spelling used by the Suethor in the fic is much better then in her little A/Ns at the beginning and ending of each chapter. Using Chatspeak? Saying "guud" instead of "good"? Ew, how old is this Suehtor, really? As for the spelling, for the most part, it's okay, but... Who the hell spells "sarcastically" as "sarcastidly"?! The Suethor really needs a Spellcheck, and fast!
Misc. Notes: Once again, the Sue isn't absolutely toxic. Like previously stated, Link doesn't instantly worship her, and she does feel bad for her actions. I'm still wondering if I really should be making a report for Isabel, but there's some parts of this fic that are just asking to be sporked, so I shall go on with the report as planned!

Sue Rating: I'd have to rate this one a 3. One spork for those horrible author notes before and after each chapter, one for the Sue stealing the Triforce, and another for the possibility of the Sue having an overly angsty past in later chapters. We'll just have to see what happens.
