LIGHT AND SWEET LOVE

In closing this month I suggest this thought that Love is light and sweet.

“Love always minimizes the difficulties in its path.  The greater one’s love, the easier the sacrifice.  Loving God will be our unending occupation in heaven and it will be the cause of our ecstatic happiness through eternity.” Father Bonniwell, Dominican priest and historian. I’m wondering how Holy Spirit will define the events of June. Come, stay tuned with me, affectionately your scribeforlove. Painting by Ivan Guaderrama.

BEAUTY STRIKES

As you discover Summer’s beauty, we’ll be walking on sunshine even as Marshall Law will be restoring justice over the land – yet, fear not.

Dew evaporates

Wings rest their colors on leaves

Stunning tapestry

Be peace in the storm and make God proud. The sonic boom is coming soon. Look for purple skies over the horizon, then God’s mighty hand will make all things new. God will supply all our needs. Join me in prayer for these signs and wonders to appear.

THE BRIDE

This painting of The Bride by Kristin Replogle inspires this free verse poem as wedding bells ring in June.

The bride in any season

Toils for survival of others, forgetting self.

Woman’s work continues

Her gifts of sacrifice gain resolve.

The bride in every season

cradles endless love.

Also, let us be resolved to become the Bride of Christ. He waits for us.

GOD’S PULL

Another Cinquain poem:

The world

From bad to worse

Take heart in divine grace

Rise from evil to redemption

God’s pull

An after thought: From the Word of the prophets, there is now a shift in the atmosphere for exposures in government, nations and personal life. Much is changing for good and not for evil and war. This summer will heat up with vindication. The question arises: Can can we make God our new normal? How much time can we give him daily? When God is in perfect love with everyone always! Enjoy this weekend thinking about – Be ready! Freedom is here!
