HOPE IS EXTRAVAGANT!

How much Hope do you have?

Hope is extravagant because God is the source of all hope.

Hope is attainable in just trusting in God.

Listen to what Fr. Jacques Philippe says about hope.

“Lacking Hope, we don’t really believe God can make us happy, and so we construct our happiness out of covetousness and lust.

We don’t wait to find the fullness of our existence in God, and so we shape an artificial identity grounded in pride…we are held back by fears, hesitations and worries.

Lack of trust in what God’s grace can do in our lives leads to a shrinkage of the heart.  The remedy is to rekindle our hope, to rediscover a new trust in what God can do for us – no matter how weak and wretched we are.

Hope is a Choice that often demands an effort.  It is easier to worry, get discouraged, be afraid.  Hoping means trusting.  When we hope we are not passive:  we are acting.”

A DANCE OF PRAISE

O, have you ever experienced receiving the enigma of a postcard?

This vivid postcard pounced my heart with gladness knowing the sender as a hopping bunny rabbit.  These Russian dancers aroused my curiosity as Mother Nature tickled my senses with a preview of a Spring coming.  The day was unseasonably mild to the point of opening my living room window to let in the warm breeze and bright sunshine streaming in.  With pensive lyrics chanting in the background, I surged to get up to the swaying music and began dancing as if I heard a nearby babbling brook flowing these words:

Glorious Afternoon

Like David, the music sways me to dance

My arms raised to Heaven

Your Love, God, tickles my feet off the ground

My heart soars like a beating drum

Your Grace lifts me higher

Sweeter than wine, priceless than gold or diamonds

I move to and from joy and hope

Nothing holding me back

I can almost flutter like a butterfly

Believing nothing compares to your Love

We can do anything together!

This postcard brought about a moment of ecstasy.  The enigma lies in that God is always participating in my writings.  Assuredly, God is also partaking in each of your life’s stories, so be sure to shout them out.  How marvelous is He as our creative ally!

UNBEATABLE SACRIFICE

Second Sunday of Lent

“Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love.  Listen to Him!”

–Mark 9:7

When Jesus was transfigured on the mountain, he knew the ultimate sacrifice he would make on the cross at Calvary being obedient to the will of his Father.

“He himself carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding.”  1 Peter 2:24

Without any sin upon him, he knew he would shed his sacred blood for sinful mankind.  No one can beat this sacrifice.  No way can anyone repay Christ except to follow him in all humility.

“I have not forgotten and what I placed in you has not changed, because I AM in you, and I do not change…I will follow his commands and never stop. I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what.”  Psalm 18:18-19,21

How privileged we are to be privy to the Glory of God and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

SATURDAY SPECIAL

“By day the Lord commands his steadfast love; and at night his song is with me. a prayer to the God of my life.”

–Psalm 42:8

A Saturday morning dream – I heard my voice speaking to a large crowd of strangers saying, “that everyone is blinded to some degree to the understanding of God, then a gentle breeze whispered, “that everyone will be given the understanding to accept God’s offer for eternal life and everyone will be saved.”  

No wonder I immediately woke up happy!

Another thought emerged:

What kind of history do you have with God?

Have you been a longtime pilgrim like me, or are you just beginning the journey with Him?  Whichever doesn’t really matter because God is timeless, and with each new day, we can begin anew.  Doesn’t He give us plenty to thank Him for life?

Know – God always goes before you and me.

“Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we ask anything agreeable to his will, he will hear us.  And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of him.”

–1 John 5:14-15

Let us not hesitate to pray from the heart for God hears and answers prayers.

I am so thankful to share God’s newest prophetic promise to expand a beautiful Kingdom Age.  Believing what is being expressed here will fill your heart with immense hope and gratitude for what God is doing to save our communal existence and erase the wicked proponents of evil from our planet.

AN AGE OF EXPANSION

“You are entering AN AGE OF EXPANSION.  As the DEEP DARKNESS is DRIVEN from much of the world, more and more of My LIGHT and My GOODNESS will FILL those places.  This will result in a BETTER LIFE and a BETTER WORLD for all.”

“When mankind is FREED of the SLAVERY to darkness and to DEFILING perversions, CREATIVITY will ABOUND and BEAUTY will INCREASE.  FREEDOM and PURITY in the atmosphere will PROMOTE healthy and plentiful crops and animals.  Music, arts, and entertainment will REFLECT My NATURE, My BEAUTY, and My HOPE.”

“My Church will no longer be CONTAINED in a building, but it will be WOVEN THROUGHOUT all of society as a REPRESENTATIVE of My Kingdom.  Government and media will TRANSFORM to SERVE the people and to SPREAD TRUTH.”

“Did you know that your spirit can EXPAND, too?  You will reach NEW HEIGHTS of REVELATION of who I AM and how much I LOVE YOU.  I will REVEAL SECRETS of the Universe, and you will MARVEL at My MATCHLESS WISDOM and GLORY.  Instead of FRETTING try to STOP at the present shenanigans of those partnered with darkness as they FUTILELY try to STOP the AGE OF EXPANSION, start to IMAGINE how GOOD, how FULL, how RICH, and how FREE life is going to be, as My Spirit POURS OUT on the world and the Kingdom Age flourishes.  AN AGE OF EXPANSION is dawning over your world.”
