POWER WORD CONUNDRUM

What on earth is boggling your mind at this time?  What conundrum are you facing and trying to solve?  Perhaps you will find hope as you continue reading this post.

The human mind works peculiarly to grieve over the past and to stress about the future, a mechanism that keeps people in bondage from savoring the present.   Ann Voskamp writes about conundrum.

“It’s the battle plan of the enemy of the soul – to keep us blind to this current moment, the one we can’t control to blind us from the One who controls everything.     In God, there is no time, only eternity – or more simply, only now.  His name is I AM — wherever my feet are – is where I can love him.”

Believing in God and following His divine teachings promises to make it impossible to succumb to any of life’s conundrums.  God’s Word generates and enlightens faith into the human spirit to change the heart through divine love and live with satisfaction.

“It is written in the Prophets:  ‘They will all be taught by God.  Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.”  John 6:45

And “Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.  Ask and receive that your joy may be full.”  John 16:23

No matter the road you are currently traveling, with God’s presence you will succeed.  Praise God.

HOPEFUL DETERMINATION

Wednesday as the fourth day of Creation brings a hopeful determination to experience progress.  Well off are those to pass from former ways to newness of life, leaving behind a “bonfire of vanity” (Girolamo Savonarola).

Have you proceeded through your “Open Door” to receive your destiny from God?  Following this challenge going forward contains the healing power of God for our personal lives. Hopeful determination will get us there, so walk in fortitude, newness of life is attainable.

“Alleluia!  I give thanks to Yahweh with everything I’ve got–Splendor and beauty mark his craft; His generosity never gives out.  His miracles are his memorial.  Never-out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.  He paid the ransom for his people.  He’s so personal and holy; worthy of our respect.  The good life begins in the fear of Yahweh–Do that and you’ll know the blessing of Yahweh.  His Alleluia lasts forever!  Prayer inspired by Psalm 111, Eugene H. Peterson

Celebrate this good Wednesday!

BY THE LIGHT OF WRITING

My aim here has always been to stir up delight in your heart.  As God unleashes my soul to write, I find ease in sharing exquisite art, witty quotes and anecdotes through my eyes of faith.  How am I doing, really?

When I read your story, I am inspired.   Together we grow from our combined different life experiences.   All writing is a mysterious worthy effort.

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”  William Wordsworth

And from yours truly, “Writing from the heart pleases God and gives joy to my soul.”

FRESHNESS OF NEW LIFE

“There is fresh new life in the forest.  Go downstream beneath the limestone rocks.  Morning light is perfect for every weary soul stuck in a dry place.  Newsy stuff is detrimental.  Find a new kind of rest in the spring flowers, trees, a brook.  Enter into dwelling prayer.  God is anything but boring.  Believe, He will do the rest.”   A message from the Lord to his servant Clare.  A message for anyone at any time.

A couple of hours after writing the above thoughts, while praying with the Book of Romans 6: 4, I discovered this:

“Sharing in his (Jesus) death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him.  We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk “in the freshness of new life.”  Holy Spirit must have imparted to me the title of this post.  Isn’t it amazing how God is absolutely good!  Blessing us this way.
