I am attempting to find meaning over here. You are cramping my groove.

THERE ARE TWO RICKYS! (Rickies? What's the correct plural of Ricky?)

I mean, I figured there was more than one grey squirrel in the world, nay, even in the backyard, but I had never seen two at once by the feeder until yesterday. It certainly makes Ricky seem like less of a pig. Still an ass though.

That is all. Go about your business.

Ok. Are you ready for this? I've been meaning to post the following random thoughts for a couple days, and now that I have a little free time, I'm going to. Be warned, these things have nothing to do with each other. Absolutely nothing.

1. I AM DONE WITH ORGO FOREVER. NOT JUST FOR A LITTLE WHILE, FOREVER. I was the first one done with the test, mainly because round about question 45 (there were 70 total) I stopped even trying and just started guessing. For the very last question I had so little clue what the answer was that I read it, closed my eyes, pointed at an answer, and put that one down.

Seriously, I did not care about that test. It was on the entire year, it was a standardized test, there was no real way to study for it, it's going to be scaled, and my grade is so good that it really doesn't matter. He asked me as I handed it in if it was too easy. I said no, but I left out the part where I was done so early because I just didn't care.

5.
Last, but not least, an Abby quote from last night.

Me: I want to be famous. But I don't want to be famous for being pretty, or stupid. I want to be famous for being really smart.
Abby: I want to be famous for being smart AND pretty.
Me: Well, I mean, I don't want to be famous for being ugly. And there are people who are.
Abby: *looks dubious*
Me: Like the Hunchback of Notre Dame! And the Elephant Man!
Abby: Mmm. And Rachel Dratch.

Listen to these quotes from my Bio Readings and Writings textbook:

"Cite authors only by their last names, unless you include two authors sharing a last name, e.g. Bilbo Baggins and Frodo Baggins."

"Why do citation formats differ so much among journals? I don't know, and I wish they wouldn't. But they do."

I love that class. Seriously.

Also, Nora made this astute observation yesterday: There are more squirrels on SMC's campus than minorities.

It's funny cause it's true.

Squirrel!

Squirrel!

Squirrel!

Yes I say it every time I see one on campus. And yes I'm going to continue to say it every time I see one on campus. And yes I see them quite frequently.

SO THERE!

I refuse to stop being weird. I refuse to repress my idosyncrisies.

If people keep commenting/giving me looks I'm going to start saying it with two syllables the way Veruka does in Charlie and the Chcocolate Factory. If you're going to be regarded as weird you might as well give them something to really be freaked out by.

And if that gets old (which it probably never will) I'll comment on the chipmunks too.

The thing is it reminds me of being in Boston with Vanessa and the severe ADD we had and the Freedom Trail(Fight The Power) and the squirrel in the park with Hannah and frightening the pigeons and Gerry (Do you love it?) and that whole trip where I was completely my weird self and comepletely happy.

Whereas here I can't be completely myself because IT VIOLATES THE SCENE (way to incorporate class into everyday life) and I can't be weird and I don't like it. I miss my friends where I felt like they'd love me no matter how crazy I acted. I don't seem to have made any friends of that sort here. I feel like if I act too bizarre they'll alienate me.

*Sigh*

SQUIRREL!

P.S. That reminds me of Spanish class...Squirrely verbs, and ardilla (squirrel) is slang for smart...
Me and Renee: Since when are squirrels smart?

I miss inside jokes too.
