| Has anyone watched Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist? We randomly watched the first episode a few weeks back, and it's pretty good!
We also gave Stumptown a chance (mostly because of Cobie Smulders), and still have like 10 episodes on the DVR, but it didn't quite grab us.
In other news, they cancelled church, and so this was a very weird Sunday.

| This is the world we live in:
1. This morning at church, after I sat down but before mass had started, I took my phone out of my pocket to turn the sound off. The elderly woman next to me was watching me, and I was thinking, "Oh gosh, I hope she doesn't think I'm texting or something in church. Please don't judge me, I'm just shutting the sound off!" The next time I glanced over at her, she had taken out her touch screen smart phone and was turning its sound off.
2. Friday afternoon, I was driving home from work and singing Wrecking Ball pretty loudly in my car. I was in the right hand lane on the highway when a car pulled up to pass me on the left, and I glanced over at it (like we all do). The woman in the passenger seat had her window rolled down and was singing Wrecking Ball at me. I couldn't hear her at all (and didn't react fast enough to roll my window down too) but she must have seen me singing it (it's pretty obvious, because everyone does this certain head motion when they sing the 'you wre-eh-eked me' part) and realized she had the same radio station on. So we had a brief sing-a-long, and It was awesome.
Answer to last Sunday's song: Band of Gold, by Freda Payne. No one guessed this.

| I will now dispense some good advice that I got from church today, because Brother Moran rocks. Live. That is the point of life, to live. Not to acquire material things, not to be well provided for in the future, not to have, but to live. Do the things that make you happy, every day, because you never know when your life will end and then you won't be able to anymore. Where will all your possesions be when you are dead? What will they get you? What will you have accomplished? Nothing. But if you were happy then you can have no regrets. So I say unto you, live. Howl at the moon. Go out and run under the stars. Steal kisses on the beach. Stay up all night with good firnds and watch the surise. Do whatever makes you happy. But live.
Wow. I'm oddly good at preaching. I just paraphrased all that you know. It's not like I was taking notes in church. It just really touched me.
