I seem to be doing well with an icon set for every other episode. Let's see if I can keep it up for the rest of the season! These are 20 icons from 3x03 and 3x04, so spoilers from those episodes obviously. 3x03 airs tonight on SyFy and 3x04 airs next Monday if I'm not mistaken. So weird. Why, oh why, SyFy, delay gloriousness for a whole week? It mind-boggles the mind. Tsk.

I don't even know how to refer to this episode. 2x01? Or was it 1x01 of a spinoff series? Either way, last night was the first episode of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. And while I watch for the intricate political intrigue and the utter dedication to historical accuracy, I realize that there are some people who might want something else. I know I have fans of both Lucy Lawless and Jaime Murray on my flist (because so many people want me to Helen/HG Wells it's not even funny!) and I myself have fallen for her since I started watching "Hustle." So I was pretty excited to get my hands on this episode so I could cap it for all of you. ~g~

Warning! These are not safe for work. I know, we've all seen nipples before. The vast majority of us have two of our very own. But regardless, it needs to be warned that at least two of these icons have nudity from Lucy Lawless and Jaime Murray.

See what I did there? It looks like a warning, but it's really an enticement. I can be evil a lot.

I posted a Bo/Lauren/Kenzi fic, and a lot of people were shocked I was even watching the show. The main indicator that I watch something, other than fic, is icons. I hadn't made a single icon of Lost Girl, despite having the caps. Mainly Sanctuary got in the way. I couldn't leave Helen Magnus uncapped! So I decided that it was high time I made a set. There are 35 icons in this set, so have at 'em! If you want to use the blank ones as bases, feel free. :D I just like to see what you do to them so I can oooh and ahhh. :D

There was an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway? where Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles played a game of Helping Hands. At the end of the game, both of Colin's hands were covered with spaghetti sauce up to the elbows (don't ask). Drew said, "Doctor, how'd the operation go?" and Colin half-sobbed, "It was just tonsils!" I've been thinking of that while making these icons. "It was just tonsils!"

I wanted ONE Brandi Carlile icon for myself. Just one. So I went to YouTube and watched her videos, and I started taking caps as possible icons. I ended up with... a lot. And then when I started making them to see how they looked as icons, I managed to make 12 or 14 before I realized I was putting together a post. So I decided to keep going. Why not? ~g~ And the result is before you: 44 Brandi Carlile icons (really 40, because four of them are just bases of icons that I put text on later :D)!

In honor of mmom starting tomorrow, and because I had a heckuva lot of icon spaces to fill up, I decided to make some risque icons. One even has nudity! Gasp! I would say there's nothing graphic going on in the icons, but... that's kind of a lie. ~looks at one in particular~ But I can say that you can't see anything graphic. Most of the sexiness is implied. I'm using the least-risque ones as teasers, including one of Gillian Anderson just because it came out so well. ;-D

The more mainstream sources are from Boogie Woogie (Hey, I didn't name the stupid movie (13, 14, 24)) and And Then Came Lola (18, 19, 20, 22, 23). I highly recommend the second. ;-D A big bold warning: These Icons Be Risque! Do Not Click Unless You Want Sexy Icons! Or unless, you know, you just want to look. Voyeurs. ;-D

It's been way too long since I did an icon post for these two, and the caps have just been piling up. So, Los Hombres de Paco icons, focusing on - naturally - Pepa and Silvia! You really need to check this show out, if you haven't. It's on YouTube, there are communities, it's all waiting for you. And unlike certain pairings that shall remain Otalia - er, nameless - there's actual payoff. Angst, yes. But oh, such payoff. ~g~

No offense intended to Otalia or their fans. I admire anyone who has the kind of patience required to follow any soap opera relationship. ;-D

Okay. I am officially hooked. Thank goodness rysler is hooking me up, or else I may have to go ballistic. I've watched segments of the show on YouTube with English subtitles, and... yeah. It's very addictive. I love Pepa/Silvia, and I'm not afraid who knows it. So, my new obsession is a Spanish-language cop show. Who saw that coming? But this show really blindsided me with the awesome. I can't wait to watch the whole thing in order! ;-D

I would say spoilers through, whatever, but this show has the weirdest numbering ever. I guess through episode 96...? Whatever. Go! Want, take, comment, have. :D Oh, the one I used to post this is also up for grabs. :)

Today, alone and bored on a 30th century night (will I see you on the Price is Right?), I went wandering to YouTube. In search of Los Hombres de Paco. I first heard of this show through trancer21, I think, and I'm as hooked as someone can be on a show they've never seen and have no hope of ever seeing (unless these icons inspire someone to download, and then hook a brother up. :D). I watched three videos on the 'Tube, and the result are icons.

I was mainly taking caps because Pepa - the brunette - is my new basis for Riley Parra. And I wanted some Riley icons. ~points at icon~ But some of these caps were just too good to throw away just because they showed Silvia's face. And what a cute face it is! So some Los Hombres de Paco icons pour vous. Or whatever the Spanish equivalent of "for you" is. ~g~

The show, for those who don't know, is apparently a cop show like CSI. Pepa, the brunette, and Silvia, the redhead, are an item. Or they were in a couple of episodes. I don't know the specifics, all I know are the very basic plots surrounding some of the scenes I watched. It's easier to see Lauren Sanchez as Riley if I don't know what she's like as Pepa. ;-D

Comic book icons, yay! These are from the DC series "52," and they focus on, naturally, Renee Montoya and Kate Kane, otherwise known as The Question and Batwoman. They are superheroes, and lovers. In canon! ~arms of yay~ I made these mostly for rysler, but I think anything that gets word of these ladies out is of the good. So anyone else is welcome to use them as well. They're from Issue #14 (because that's the one I randomly clicked) up to #52. I'll cap the rest later for another post. :D

For now, 32 icons of Renee, Kate, The Question, Batwoman, and variations thereof. :D Some of these really sucked to make, because the idiot writers insisted on putting word bubbles everywhere. Sigh. But I managed!

I've been working on these for a while, with the plan to post them on February 14 for Valentine's Day. Then today I got to thinking, what if people want to use some of these on Valentine's Day? So I decided to go ahead and post them early, which meant scrambling like mad to get them finished today. Well, not really scrambling. These are all from incredibly random sources, mostly from the movie section of Club Lez. If you want to know where a particular icon came from... well, I might know. Go ahead and ask, and you might get lucky.

And now, the standard disclaimer: These are a bit more risque than my usual icon sets. Sexual situations abound, although there is absolutely no... well. I was going to say there's absolutely no nudity, but in a few cases it gets so, so close. I don't want to mislead anyone. Just... viewer discretion is advised. ;-D
