O THE GLORY!

Today is the 4th of July in America. We the people recognize this is a birth day for our nation and peoples of the world desire to follow suit. The earth is God’s with fireworks and people are dancing in the streets. We rise to honor 250 years of a republic founded on democratic principles of Judean Christian values. Today we remember the Promises God has given to His chosen people. Let us sing praises “For this is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it, send now salvation, prosperity and divine health!” We celebrate the goodness of God on earth.

Stay tuned for more prophetic messages concerning the next 3 months. Not to be worried, but being prepared for what’s to come. A Bing Image.

Receive blessings from the Glory of God!

AMERICAN PICNIC

On a lighter note I present this famous quote from Erma Bombeck, Americana’s columnist.

You have to love a nation that celebrates its Independence Day — not with a parade of guns, tanks and soldiers, who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle — but with family picnics where kids throw frisbee, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is just patriotism!”

In closing with a humble prayer for you: God has poured a blessing on you and your house, you are covered by the Blood Covenant of Christ, surely the goodness of Lord God is upon you and your family.”

Sincerely, your scribe for love and peace.

LUCIOUS DESSERT

How about making a sumptuous dessert for the 4th of July. Banana Pudding, like taking a plunge in the pool, cool, creamy with crunchy vanilla wafers. This is my Beloved’s recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cups cold milk, 1 5 ounce package of vanilla pudding, 1 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1 12 ounce container of Cool Whip thawed, 1 16 ounce package of vanilla wafers and 3 bananas. Place milk and pudding mix into a bowl; Beat with a whisk for 2 minutes; Blend in the condensed milk and stir in vanilla, then fold in the whipped topping. Next in a large bowl layer wafers, sliced bananas and pudding mixture, about 3 or 4 layers. Chill bowl for 1 hour, then dive into this luscious taste. A Bing Image.

THE FINAL FRONTIER

“It’s the future that will rule now, it’s the final frontier.” Words spoken by prophet Robin D. Bullock. A provocative entrance into this first day of July, I dare say, with good reason. Carolyn at Declaring your Destiny continues the dialogue: “It’s a great time for MY (God’s) great move for rest, peace and refreshing.” I share these prophetic messages because I love you.

Tell me you haven’t forgotten about “the great and terrible day” of the Lord. In Exodus 14:13 Moses urges the people “Do not be afraid. Stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians (the Babylonians of today) you will never seen again.” There is nothing to fear. Trust God. The watch and wait is over, the strawberry moon has come and gone. Be alert to the 3rd watch (12:00-3:00 am hours). You will find the sky purple as the last sign. Call your people to stay put at home. It will be the Day. The next day will change everything. I pray you will choose Life…which inspires this Haiku:

WORLD ON FIRE

A LOVE LETTER TO GOD

GOD’S CREATION – who we are, that each morning You fill us with your renewing mercies to accomplish daily life.

UNCHANGEABLE FATHER – who we are, that You love us perfectly, knowing even before we were formed in our mother’s womb, each of us travel in varying directions from continent to country, culture to language, from city, town or outback to anything in between.

ALMIGHTY SAVIOR – who we are, splintered by opposing contradictions, values, weak in faith, gasping for air – temporal sustenance – while family, society, government and country are collapsing.

MERCIFUL ONE – who we are, who labor in trepidation and unexplained sufferings that only our gaze upon the Holy Cross can refresh us from pain to comfort.

SHEPHERDS OF SOULS – who we are, struggling in identity crisis, while the world screams for more wealth, agelessness and power, but to find and fulfill a personal mission to live harmoniously towards paradise.

HOLY SPIRIT FIRE – who we are in every generation, God’s air we breathe with your stamp of safety.

MIGHTY IN BATTLE – who we are, your frail children.  Come save us.  Forgive our transgressions, fill our hearts with grace, compassion and forgiveness.  We still have time to change.  One by one, we blow a trumpet, pour out charity, smiles, hugs, and prayers.  Unrelenting is the potential to reinforce God’s chain of Love to bring hope and healing.

KING OF GLORY – we belong to You.  We recommit our existence to goodness and justice.  We drop our weapons and stop the vitriol.  God you will crush the axis of evil in return for world peace, Amen. Your scribe for love. A Bing Image.

SERVE UP SMILES

I enjoy concocting summertime foods and drinks can be the next best thing to island hopping!  Hope these ideas will tickle your fancy to dream them up.

Fancy Fruit Cups – Place your favorite fruits (watermelon, honeydew, strawberries, kiwi, grapes) in fancy stem glasses, add a sprig of mint and pour champagne or port wine over fruits.

Mediterranean Bean Pasta Salad – Cook and drain your favorite pasta al dente.  Add to pasta cannellini beans, black olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, sprig of basil, crumbled feta cheese, toss everything with olive oil, dash of balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper – you have a tasty salad – Bon Appetit.

WATERMELON MARGARITA – First, make a syrup of 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 2 wide orange peels and boil until sugar is dissolved, then let cool, remove orange peel and puree in blender with 8 cups of cubed watermelon, stir in syrup, 1 cup fresh lime juice and 2 cups of your favorite Tequila and sip over ice.

COLADA SUPREME – In a blender combine 2 bananas, 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks, 1 cup pineapple juice, 1 cup coconut water, 1 cup ice and squeeze juice of 1 lemon.  Spike with your favorite spirit.  Process until smooth and serve in chilled glasses.

Zaza’s SANGRIA – Choose your favorite red wine (mine is Red Rose, Burgundy, Shiraz – 2 bottles).  You can also use a mix of dry and sweet white wines. Two cups of fresh sliced fruit, like oranges, lemons apples, peaches or plums, 2 tbsp. sugar. Either 1/2 cup of brandy or port wine- I prefer Cinzano aperitif.  Blend all ingredients in a large bowl and chill, then transfer into your favorite ceramic or crystal pitcher. Before serving, add a dash of sparkling water will make a fizzy Sangria and Voila! Chin Chin!

I Keep bugs at bay with herbal or citronella candles. July is predicated to be a hot mess. We’ll find out soon. A Pexels Image.
