I personally think it might be better to go with 'Detach' everywhere. Also I think the modal should be used for template parts too. |

With the revised release schedule for 7.0, I wonder if it's possible to include this (and making the options generally consistent, so that might mean the other PR that added the modals too). I've only just come back from some time AFK, so I'm not really up to date on everything that's happening with 7.0. |

I think it's possible. There hasn't been an official post, but the release was delayed and will be set for mid or late May with several Beta/RCs. I expect there'll be a package update between now and then. |

I'll merge this. I've added the Bug label to #75713 as well since it changed the copy, and added inconsistency. That PR will have to be backported first given it's a requirement of this PR. That it introduced the modals is a nice side effect 😄 |

I think it was all blessed, so there should be no issue in merging an enhancement during beta (if it is a real beta). The question I'd have is whether there's a string freeze still. |

Follow up to #75713
Template parts used "Detach" while synced patterns used "Disconnect". This PR normalises the label to Detach across both patterns and template parts, and adds a confirmation modal to template parts (already present for patterns).
Why
Make things consistent. Reduce blast radius of confusion!

convert-to-regular.js: adds confirmation modal before detaching a template part, with a dynamic title using the template part name (e.g. "Detach Header?") when availablepatterns-manage-button.js: removes the synced/unsynced conditional — both now use "Detach"Testing
