When I first saw the parks and Playgrounds theme,

my mind searched for children’s playgrounds.

Then some of the parks we have visited came

to mind…Kruger National Park in

South Africa, was one of them.

A few years ago Sparrow Park was a family meeting place.

We could catch up with our then, only grandhild

In 2016 we visited Vancouver’s

Stanley Park.

I managed to capture this glorious sunset

in Botswana’s

Chobe National Park…

…while in 2013 we waited for this pride of lions

to catch wind of some impalas that were

just to the left of this image.

Neither lions or imapals apppeared to

realise the others were nearby.

So Kruger National Park had a quiet day

A few week ago we visited Oslo’s

Vigeland Statue Park

as we ended our visit to Scandinavia.

Although I never think of The 12 Apostles

as in a ‘Park’, they are part of the

Port Campbell National Park.

I am sure many readers would have

heard of the 12 Apostles along Victoria’s

Great Ocean Road
