We were preparing for our flight over

Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls.

While the helicopter looks reasonably large

believe me when I say it was rather

cramped inside.

Even though there was relatively little water going

over Victoria Falls when we visited in 2014…

…we were still in awe of Victoria Falls,

one of the World’s Natural Wonders…

BERJAYA

..it still was a wondrous sight to see.

BERJAYA

It was pointed out to us that the smallish stream

in the bottom of the previous image and the

bottom left corner of this one, is the beginning

of the erosion that will lead to the next iteration

of the Victoria Falls.

This one being the fifth or sixth site of the Falls.

Prior to leaving the village we were enertained by

Village Dancers.

in Zimbabwe’s

Victoria Falls Village

Germany’s Rhine Valley Region…

how little protection we had from

nocturnal wildlife in Africa.

young primary classes act out

and never once did I stop to think of

the troll’s appearance.

 I found this troll at a troll shop in

Norway, in June 2023.
