Six days a week the Grand’Place and

the Place des Héros, also known as

the Petite Place or “little square”,

are like no others in Northern Europe.

Every Saturday morning, however, the

Place des Héros is transformed into a

commercial centre for anyone wanting

to purchase their weekly supply of

food through to jewellery and

clothing products.

BERJAYA

Upon arriving at the Leaning Tower of Pisa

we had to run the gauntlet of this market,

its merchants and their wares.

This shop was the only one which

stocked clothing in my size.

Therefore, I do LOVE Paris

…form a safety barrier

France.

BERJAYA

A sturdy steel fence forms a secure barrier around

a Nineteenth Century grave.

Back in the nineteen fifties this cemetery trust

used sheep as lawn mowers,

so it is conceivable that the fence

was erected as a barrier to livestock.
