...since I've posted to this journal. Rest assured that I am not dead, I've merely been in a sort of 'fandom-hibernation'.

Right now, I am all a-squee because I am getting broadband installed (finally!), and Ti-Faux (TM celli). Both things should make my life immensely easier.

Caught two eps of The Dresden Files tonight, one of which was the season finale. I was curious, as there have been a few good reviews on LJ.

Overall, I liked it a lot. It's quirky, it's fun, and it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously.

Although, I am seeing a couple of 'drinking game' type trends:

*Harry gets hit over the head by a woman
*Harry cradles a woman while she sobs on his shoulder
*Harry, despite being a bad-ass wizard, gets his ass kicked in a fight

So far, these incidents fall into the 'mildly amusing' category.

The show is definately interesting enough for me to Ti-Faux, though.
