NCIS Season 4 DVDs will be available October 23rd. However, the text of the article says that they will be available “just ahead of the Fall premiere of the show’s fifth season.” So does that mean NCIS won’t be premiering until October?!!! That is so wrong, right?

He double-parked his car and ran into Price Chopper and picked up a bouquet of brightly colored flowers. He almost threw them out of the car twice on his way over to Timmy’s but he figured what the hell. And when Timmy opened the door and saw the flowers, the smile that lit his face made Donald weak in the knees. No one had ever looked at him like that. He vowed that for however long this thing between them lasted, he would always bring Timmy flowers.

Five Times Donald Wasn’t in Control by cobweb_diamond (Donald/Timothy; R) The first time he meets Timmy, Donald is dressed as a hobo. It's for a case but still, hobo. Not the best first impression to make on one's future husband.

Five Ways Timmy Saved Donald by svendra (Donald/Timothy; R) He could save Donald from danger, or save Donald from himself. But not both at the same time.

On the Lookout by thegrrrl2002 (Donald/Timothy; R) Timmy snaps his fingers. "I know. Bobby Ambrose--we met at the coffee shop--" Donald ducks down and sucks on the nipple, hard. "Oh," Timmy gasps dramatically. "Oh, Bobby." Donald is still laughing when Timmy pulls him up for a kiss. "You," he says, and then his lips touch down on Timmy's warm, generous mouth and he doesn't think about anything at all for a good long time.

Dante’s Cove Fic Rec: The Catch by fantwho (Toby/Kevin; NC17) She turned his hand palm up, and made a horizontal cut across it. He hissed through his teeth in pain, but didn’t move or otherwise complain. She made the cut much deeper than she needed to, but she needed his blood as much as the stone did. It pattered in the bowl like rain as she put the rock in the palm of his hand, and curled his fingers around it. He closed his eyes, as if trying to force his will into it, and said, “I wish Kevin would come back to me, and he’d be beyond Ambrosius’s reach forever.”

Mag7 Fic Recs:

A Glimpse by sara_merry99 (Chris/Vin; NC17) They sat together for a while longer without talking. Nothing else needed to be said, Vin reckoned, and neither of them were men to fill up empty spaces with empty words. The silence was comfortable between them, easy, but there seemed to be something precious in it. More than just comfort, though Vin wasn't sure he knew the word. He just relaxed and let himself enjoy it. He hoped Chris was finding as much in it as he was.

Some twenty minutes later, Chris stood and extended his hand to Vin, looking down at him with a small smile on his face. When Vin let himself get pulled to his feet, Chris held his arm for a second, then said, "Thanks, Vin." His eyes met Vin's and held there and Vin felt the same shiver over his skin he'd felt the first time they looked at each other.

Ducking his head, Vin thought of a hundred things he wanted to say, but didn't think Chris wanted to hear any of them. So he just said, "We'd best get back on the trail. Be nice to know where they went to ground and still get back to town by sunset."

Tides by sara_merry99 (Chris/Vin; NC17; x-over with Riptide, Nick/Cody/Murray) Their eyes met and locked and Vin felt again the shock of recognition, of pleasure, of love, that he'd felt the very first time he'd seen Chris. Felt it every time their eyes had met since, he realized, only he hadn't known what he was feeling or what it meant. Chris smiled softly, like he knew what Vin was realizing, like he'd been waiting for it.

Numb3rs Fic Rec: Wayward Son by umbralillium (OMC/OMC; R; mentions child sexual abuse - I know what you’re thinking, me rec’ing an OMC/OMC fic? But this one you have to try. It was written for the Behind the Scenes challenge over at numb3rsflashfic and one of the OMCs is Don and Charlie’s brother.) LOS ANGELES –– Thursday evening, police searched the home of Todd Eppes, 26, in relation to the Asylum serial killings; Eppes was not at home when police arrived. He was, however, apprehended later that same evening at a martial arts school where he taught martial arts.

SGA Fic Rec: Deeply by thegrrrl2002 (John/Rodney; NC17) Rodney sighed. Letting his arms slide away, he fell face first into the bed with a thud. "I totally suck at being gay." John spread out on top of him. "I know, tell me about it." Lips brushed against Rodney's ear. "You don't even like show tunes."

Supernatural Fic Recs:

Green and Gamboge by sevenfists (Sam/Dean; NC17) Sam spends three days looking through every book he can get his hand on, but he can't find anything that would explain why Dean's got a harem of gremlins following him around, or any way to get the gremlins back in the engine, or in somebody else's engine—basically anywhere that isn't near Sam. He gives up and calls Bobby.

"Gremlins, huh," Bobby says. There's a pause, and then a muffled noise.

"Are you laughing?" Sam asks.

"No," Bobby says.

He's totally laughing. "Is there anything we can do?"

"Lemme get back to you on that one," Bobby says.

Ramsey, when Sam calls him, doesn't even try to pretend that he doesn't think it's the most hilarious thing he's ever heard.

Few and Far Between (Route 66 - Team Schmoop) by sevenfists (Sam/Dean; NC17) In July, they drive the whole length of old Route 66, Chicago to LA. It's something Dean's always wanted to do. He buys a map and spreads it out on the bed one night, while they're eating pizza and watching Leno, and traces his finger along the crooked yellow line.

That fic led me to spn_heraea: The Sam/Dean Schmoop vs Angst Olympics, where I found these, among others:

Cardinal Directions (Route 66 - Team Angst) by caelumi (Sam/Dean, Sam/OFC; NC17; angst) The thing is, sometimes Dean hates Sam.

My Brother Sammy is Dead (Binoculars - Team Angst) by pesha (Sam, Dean; PG13; angst) Scanning the evening crowd returning from class, Dean realized he was tense because he wanted desperately to see Sammy again. He needed to see that his brother was still out here being a geek but being himself. Dean suddenly needed that so badly his throat ached and his eyes itched behind the field lenses.

That was the first time that Dean got a good look at Sam.
