This was . . . not what I was expecting, tbh. I didn’t enjoy the stories of Bingo’s many lady loves, or how easily Bertie was walked over, or how Jeeves gave him the cold shoulder when he wore purple socks. I liked how Jeeves always managed to come up with a solution, and often made some money on it. I could totally see him taking Bertie in hand, so to speak.
I would actually like to read another book to see if I’ve missed something. For those who have read the series, should I read the second book, or, if they don’t rely on you having read all the previous books, is there one that you think I should try in particular?
I did not love this book, but would be willing to read another; I’m giving this one three hearts.
♥♥♥
(I'm using this book for the ‘Humorous Fiction’ category. Two rolls of the die places it in column 1 and row 4 on my Book Bingo 2021 card.)
