How does it work?
The hammer mill is designed primarily for the grinding of cereals. The crop is fed into the hammer mill through the feeder, where it is ground and then discharged from the machine by air flow when the process is complete. In the grinding chamber itself, the grain is broken up by the high-speed rotation of the hammers and the impact of the crop against the fibre surface. The degree of comminution is mainly determined by the hole diameter of the sieves. The performance of a hammer mill depends on the hole diameter of the inserted grit, the size of the raw material, the moisture content of the raw material and the type of raw material. The size and shape of the sieve hole is chosen according to the size of the granules to be produced. The mesh size of the fibres to be inserted may vary between 3 mm and 10 mm. It is of particular importance that the hammer mills produced are bi-directional to avoid the possibility of rotation of the hammers.

- The hammer mill can be operated with 37, 45, 55, 75 and 90 kW motors
- Fibres with hole sizes between 3 mm and 10 mm can be fed into the hammer mill
- The maximum humidity of the raw material is 18%.
- The input raw material may be up to 10x10x10mm
- Capacity 2-5 t/h depending on the cereals
