Yay! I managed to make the 100 word drabble without running over or under!
The Tree
100 words
The grave is next to a very large tree that stands alone in the middle of a field. I go there sometimes and visit her there. The hardest time of year is fall, the leaves that separate themselves from their host are a reminder of the barren place that sits in my heart. It's always raining leaves of sadness in my heart. She once told me how much she loved this time of year, but I have grown to hate it but love it. Hate because it is a reminder of Alice. Love because it is a reminder of Alice. |

^^ Okay! Now it's time for challenge number two and in honor of it turning that time of year, here's the new challenge:
Autumn
It could be a character's memories of autumn, an emotional autumn, the fact that autumn reminds them of something. Whatever you see fit, have an autumnal drabble!
And remember, anything that takes place after Shanghai is destroyed in Shadow Hearts must be labled with a spoiler warning detailing what game the spoiler takes place in and at what time roughly would it have happened during the game, like how far along the reader would've had to have played for your drabble not to have been a spoiler. So if you're posting a spoilerish drabble concerning the end of SH it should look something like this:

It always had a way of finding its way into Yuri’s life. The man in the top hat was reeking with it. Yuri looked at the young woman the man now held prisoner in his grasp. Her presence was different, it was like the sunrise cresting over a graveyard. It seemed to Yuri that the guy had sharks eyes. Top hat’s soul was a dark abyss as he smiled holding his prisoner. |

First of all I want to welcome our new members, or rather, the members we'll have once I -get- some members. Anyway, I'm pleased you're here and cannot wait to see what sort of things you'll come up with. On a note I want to mention, any drabble that takes place -after- the destruction of Shanghai in game 1 needs to be in an lj-cut with spoiler warnings. While I'm sure alot of us have beaten game one and possibly even Shadow Hearts 2, there are those who haven't and for their courtesy please give warning and don't spoil the game for them. So, moving on, here's our first challenge!
Darkness
This you should find to be rather versatile because it could be literal darkness, or emotional darkness, or spiritual darkness, or whatever else you interpret it to be. |
