Got a note from a friend over at the pit about a fic I'd posted there recently. I've just realized I've not posted it to LJ so, I'm rectifying that now.
It's the latest challenge fic for my Adam/Tommy claim over at
au_abc. The first chapter of Perilous Refuge took a little longer than I thought to get ready - mainly because the muses are so headstrong at the moment. I've put a lot of work into the back-stories of the characters and plotting the next chapter, which shouldn't be too far behind (I know you've heard that before but this time I mean it!)There's some past Aisha/Kim in this one and, if the muses co-operate, femslash in later chapters.
It's not been beta'd but I hope you enjoy.

Stretching contentedly and settling into a more comfortable position on the sofa, Tommy surveyed the coffee table infront of them. The dishes would have to be washed shortly, and he had every intention of getting up; but right now he couldn't move a muscle if he tried.
Looking over his shoulder, Adam grinned and moved over on the carpet to sit closer to him.
"That was a great meal, Ad; thanks," the former ranger leader said, dropping his hand over the edge of the cushions to tousle the dark curls.
Season: MMPR
Pairing: Adam/Tommy, but there's some Kim/Aisha if you squint.
Christmas Kisses
Excited giggles were echoing from the front room over the sound of the Christmas musical Kat had found on the television. Tommy smiled indulgently, lining the glasses up along the counter in front of him and thinking that perhaps he should go peek in and see what they were doing. Leaning in through the kitchen doorway to inquire which drinks everyone wanted, he was greeted with a chorus of ’stay there’s and he obediently waited, knowing it was better not to argue with the girls when they outnumbered him.
At first he didn’t get it; a quick glance confirmed that Kim and Aisha were still curled up comfortably in the window seat and nothing had moved, there was no obvious explanation for their twin Cheshire cat grins.
“Look up,” Kim suggested with a knowing wink at her co-conspirator. A decoration had been hung from the top of the door frame, an unmistakable green and white shape hovering inches above him. Even as he registered what was going on, a figure moved into his field of vision; hands caught hold of his shirt lapels to pull him down to eye level and a mouth pressed firmly to his.
Surprised at first, Tommy made no move either to accept or reject the kiss, only aware of the sensation of cool lips moving against his own and the pleasant contrast with the warm flirtation of a tongue seeking entrance; but after a moment he gently disengaged and looked down into the boyishly handsome face beaming up at him.
“You were only at the store ten minutes,” he finally managed.
“You asked for Hershey’s kisses,” Adam quipped, “and what boyfriend wants, boyfriend gets."
