I've read some awesome fics in these fandoms and I'm sure there are many more to come, so this post shall be a constant work in progress. They are catorized by series first and then by pairing where appropriate. Those that have no specified series or span more than one are in a category at the end. Shorthand used in this post is:
(inc) incomplete
(name/name) pairing
(name&name) involving named chars w/out romantic intentions
I've tried my best to make this user-friendly, but if you think a fic here is miscatergorised please do let me know.
I'll be off work tomorrow and taking some time to catch up. If there's anything you wanna draw my attention to, please leave me a note below.
I'll also be warming up for some more writing with the winter season drawing in - my fic pile has been sorted through, recycled and shortened to much more manageable proportions now. As a quick writing exercise, I'm re-posting a trope meme.

No problems with repeat requests from previous posting (here)

Someone on my flist posted a fic quite a while back about most of the rangers being turned into kitties. I remember Kat was human and Tommy was bouncing around like roadrunner on a sugar high.
Anyone?

Quick note to let you know I'm still here - I'll be catching up on posts shortly.
I've just been getting a little stressed, between the responsibilities of my new role at work and the recent diagnosis of PCOS. As supervisor, I've been taking evening duty manager shifts for a while and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Last week, I got the diagnosis of PCO. I was a little low for a couple of days but I've since picked myself up and we're ready to charge that mountain. Thousands of women battle with PCOS related fertility issues every year. It's an obstacle not a barrier.
Hope everyone's having a great Samhain/Halloween/festival practiced now(ish)!

Look at the crossover my evil new fandom made me write!
At least it means I'm writing again, though and I even found a character worthy of Aisha. No beta and this chapter is rated for femslash-light.
Disclaimer: I have no claim to the Power Rangers series, characters or anything else recognisable as belonging to the Power Rangers concept. Likewise, the Tru Calling characters, concepts, etc. There is no money being made from this work of fiction.

Anyone reading this who drives: Please, please spare a thought for cyclists as you travel about.
Last night, I was heading home from work. 11:30 at night, there's usually no traffic at all. I often joke that I can get home from Clifton easily - just point the bike in the right direction, release the brakes and let her fly. Obviously, I have more road sense than that! but it just proves how empty the roads are between Clifton and St George at that time of night. You'd think a cyclist in a bright yellow jacket, lights and a very loud bell would be quite noticeable.
Just heading up to the last hill before St George, a very stupid driver careened out of a side road and pulled into the lane not two feet in front of me - he hadn't even slowed down for the turn. I got home okay. A little shaken to have such a near miss when he was more than capable of waiting three seconds to let me pass (and cyclists here stay on the yellow lines, so he would have had the opportunity to overtake me afterwards anyway) But I just know that if I had been a car, he wouldn't have pulled such a stupid stunt.
Those who are friends with me on facebook are probably aware of the way I regularly comment on lack of driving skills in Bristol, but this was beyond anything that I've mentioned before - I've kept it of FB because my mother reads those posts.
So, to round this up - anyone who drives: the next time you pull out, change lanes, or overtake a cyclist, think of little Serp on her little bike - give them some space.
