In the new neighborhoods of Almere

 

It's been a while since I was in Oosterwold, the place where you can build your own design without too much interference from the government, except that everything has to be very eco-friendly and gas-free. The first house can rotate with the sun and is already the second design with this feature.  The next two photos are of a childcare center that the creators have called the school of the future. Looking at the window frames, I wonder if the designer was the same person.

In the Oosterwold in Almere you are allowed to build without any further rules except that the house must be eco-friendly, not use gas and use part of the garden as a vegetable garden. The sewage system must also comply with biological decomposition and collection of wastewater for second use. This results in special designs such as the domespace house. A kit from a French manufacturer that is able to turn with the sun. Very unusual for the Netherlands is the space that everyone has to realize their plans.
