I have been using the name Ruuger online since 1996, so if you've ever met a Ruuger on a fannish forum or a mailing list, chances are it was me. The origin of the name is a long and complicated story that involves a boring July afternoon spent playing Monopoly while speaking like the Swedish Chef from Muppets.
If you want to friend me, go ahead and do it. No need to ask or anything. I'm not the world's most prolific poster, but when I do post something, it's usually random fannish rants and reviews about whatever I happen to be watching on TV at that moment.
My main fandoms are Babylon 5, Buffyverse, The X-Files, The Mentalist, Doctor Who (mainly Capaldi era), and most recently The Mandalorian.
I have also been known to make teal deer posts about the Eurovision Song Contest.
Consider this a warning. Or invitation. Or whatever.
And for the record, if I ever say or do something stupid or offensive, let me know. By email, comment, PM, or any way that suits you best. I can't promise I'll never make mistakes, but I can try not to do it twice.
