I finished The Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji (The House Murders #1). I found it overall kind of boring and the end unsatisfying. This is the roommate's pick for our friend group's annotation swap this year, so I feel a bit bad about not liking her book, but I didn't like one of our other friend's books last time so lol Also realized that I had until the end of June to finish this, so I'm actually ahead!
Ficwise, I'm still reading mostly a lot of Love in the Air.

Watching

The roommate and I started watching LoveSick 2024. I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would based on what I'd heard... I feel like there are so many conversations where just nothing is actually said even though it really needs to be? Like, I am having a really hard time figuring out all the relationship dynamics and the characters' issues. And also just telling apart all these teenage boys.
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the last episodes of Love Upon a Time. What a good show! So many ups and downs, but I'm so happy they finally got their happy ending. Good NC scenes as well, which I was surprised to get from LatteKim!
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the latest episodes of Magic Move. Oh, the mess. Which is fine, but I am not enjoying Rit making himself out to be the victim of it all. Like, boy, you started this lol Also the absolute nothing burger of the kidnapping...
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the latest episodes of Love of Silom. Krit has managed to lose all of my respect, the absolute coward. You are a grown man and have a career and your own money, just fucking tell your dad off!! But I am loving the Moonlit crew supporting Wayu so much, he deserves it. And deserves better than probably getting back with Krit, but oh well.
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the latest episodes of Enemies with Benefits. Super surprised by the speed that Tangwa and Proud's relationship is moving, but I'm not mad about it. Also loving how supportive and protective Lal is of Wine, especially with the asshole ex coworker in the picture.
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the latest episodes of Wu. Loved Niran putting Pete ahead of everything and everyone, even if it meant lying to everyone and letting Pete think he betrayed him and putting himself in danger, even if that part was accidental. Can't wait for the soulbond to really come into play next ep.
The roommate, best friend, and I watched the first episodes of A Dog and a Plane. Loving Toto and Kanit's dynamic and how gone Toto is for him already, even while Kanit tries desperately to hold on to his relationship with Lion. Very interested to see what's going to happen with Akki and Veha, because I was really not expecting Veha to already know he's the side piece.
The roommate, best friend, and I watched a couple episodes of Shine. It is getting better maybe? I at least enjoyed the last two episodes more than the first three. SonEuro's characters remain the best part, along with Victor. I think I'm at a point where I have to admit that MileApo just don't do it for me tbh.
The roommate and I went to see The Birdcage in theaters for the 30th anniversary. Neither of us had seen it before, so that was especially fun! I think it held up pretty well, even if the ending was a bit abrupt to me. Definitely had some "oh, too real" moments going on for me at some points.
The roommate, our friend from college who was visiting, and I watched the first two episodes of the new season of Game Changer. So funny! The behind the scenes was also super interesting, I love hearing about the props and stuff.

Writing

Finished my fandom5k assignment! I struggled with it in the middle, but I quite liked it by the end, so yay.
Wrote some more on the new ArmTae fic. I think it's actually pretty close to finished? I'm at least halfway, and I'm hoping I can finish it up this weekend.
Wrote a poem.

Learning

This wasn't purposeful learning as such, but I follow a guy on ig who explains Thai BL stuff, and I learned the Thai title for Me and Thee, which includes a couple words I didn't know yet. My vocabulary is expanding, if very slowly!
