This comes from a Gerard Butler community:

Lionsgate Entertainment has apparently made the decision to only "test market" "Shattered" aka "Butterfly on a Wheel" to a very small market in less than ten theatres in Miami , FL.

As you know, this film stars three fantastic actors, Pierce Brosnan, Maria Bello and Gerard Butler, all of which have proved their worth as actors time and time again. Mr. Butler is currently a very hot commodity and it is baffling to me why the powers that be at Lionsgate wouldn't want to capitalize on that momentum.

Because it seems Lionsgate is intent on only releasing this film to such a small market, one of our valued members, Hollywood , has initiated an open letter to Lionsgate and a subsequent petition to have this film released to a wider market. ( http://www.petitiononline.com/11132007/)

PLEASE take the time to sign this petition so that we can show Lionsgate that it would be worth their time and money to get "Shattered" out to the theatres for wide release.

We need big numbers on this petition, so please, please sign it today and have your friends and family sign as well.

I saw Pierce Brosnan's new movie, The Matador today at The Grove theater yesterday morning for which he has a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a comedy (yay!). Anywho, here's my review...

The Matador (2005):
You can call me bias if you want, but I loved this film! The film made me jump, it made me laugh (a lot), twinge in disgust and even feel for an man who kills[ed] without feeling. To sum it up: funny, dramatic & intelligent. Pierce Brosnan was nothing but fantastic, one of his best performances -- up there with The Thomas Crown Affair although this time he's not just "Pierce Brosnan"... he really believably became this other person, the assassin Julian Nobel. And with this film being partially about friendship, Greg Kinnear added to the film too as the chemistry between him and Brosnan really worked. This movie is a must see... definitly a must see. You got that? A must see!

You could have a special VINYL poster advertising Die Another Day, the last James Bond 007 movie starring Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry.

This poster is GIANT. It measures approximately 34 inches x 73 inches.

The poster is specially made so that it hangs horizontally. There are four grommets at the corners of the poster for hanging as well as two additional grommets near the center edges.

The poster was never hung and has never been used. It is in mint condition. It is extremely durable and is a very rare item.

PLEASE NOTE: The glare on the poster is only due to the overhead light. Also, this picture was taken at an angle (it is a rectangle shape). Also, the two smaller pictures on the right show close-ups on the grommets and on the poster's title.

NO RESERVE!!!

Apparently, Brosnan is very much back in the running as the next Bond.

WTF, over.

And as much as I love the old boy, I really think his Bond days ought to be over. He is old. And gray. And wrinkled. And he never had a long white scar or a resemblance to Hoagy Carmichael in the first place.
