Swim Day at Aquapaws

Out for my swim with Jacqueline at Aquapaws today.

Hey, I'm not getting anywhere.  Who's holding my legs?

That's more like it.  Now I'm moving.

Wow.  That's a lot of work!

After I finish swimming, I get a big towel rub down and a yummy treat before heading off home again.

Relaxing in the car on the way home.

Where is everyone?

We had some snow in the last couple of weeks. Dad said that there was about 10 inches of heavy wet snow outside one morning but he said that I might get stuck in it so we had to wait until the afternoon before he took me outside :(

By then, much of the snow had melted because it got warm but there was still enough. So on with the coat and boots and out we went to look for some of my friends.

Nope, no one down that way...

No one that way either...

Hmmm...are they over there?

Are they hiding under the snow?

Gee, I'm not sure where they are!

Hey that looks like someone over there...

Ah darn, it looks like they decided to take a different route

Oh well, I still have my dad and he's a good friend too.

Look What I Saw

I was just out on my usual walk this morning.  It was cool but sunny. Then I saw...

I better check this out.

What good is a fake one anyway?

Oh well.

But I did run into Thomas though.

He's the real deal

so we said hello. 

He's pretty cute for a mini dog :o}

January 1- First Walk of 2011

 It's sunny and dry so I didn't wear my blue booties but it's cold.

We didn't walk as long because Mom thought my feet might get too cold.

You can see the ice puddle behind me.  

And I tried to eat some grass but it was a little crunchier than usual.

 Boy, it felt pretty good to get outside though. 

 I didn't get my walkies in yesterday because Dad was feeling really sick all day.

 (He's much better today thank goodness.)

Dad got us some new Christmassy stuffies to play with.

He told Mom to get a picture of them for the "before" shot

so everyone could see what they looked like before

I pull all the stuffing out of them : )
