Enjoyable romance show, with a handful of characters that i found enjoyable to watch. The show did like to throw the same jokes but not too much where it felt too repetitive. It knows how to take make things feel carefree and work with it jokes but also provide the seriousness required for story development. The I enjoyed the look of the characters as the animation and art style really fit them. Did feel hard trying to keep in touch with all the characters and cling on to their gags sometimes but the main duo carries the show. Nothing noteworthy for the soundtrack. And story

It's funny that I was in the mood to give Paprika a watch after seeing Christopher Nolan's Inception. Not to mention, this movie is gonna be twenty years old later this year. Kinda crazy when you think about it. Being the final movie before Satoshi Kon's passing due to pancreatic cancer back in 2010. I remember watching this a few years back and once in a while would listen in on the English version. Though, we've seen the Japanese version since I couldn't find the English dubbing. No complaints since I'll share my thoughts about it later. Either

The show was very good and the idea itself is very interesting, but I can't help but HATE SAKURA. She just pisses me off so much, and shes honestly cringy. Other than that tho, I really liked this, even the romance aspect is cute. And I love how they make it clear that the agent and the agent's guard have a every strong relationship, but they dont make it weird (Sakura being the only exception).
I do wish it had more though, I feel like I want to see more of the world building without all the chaos. Like for example, more about how each season's ...

This is my second time watching it. It's fantastic. The first anime to age up the shounen recipe and the fight scenes are great (in the second episode there's an ambiguous moment where it looks like they've cracked the "camera lens"?!)
Here is the thing with the shounen recipe: it works great. It's good to tell children (and remind adults) that they have agency and can make a difference. The issue is that, in reality, kids don't always win and then when you're thrust into the adult world, you're not always granted the time to adjust.

I wish i could like this anime but there are things you simply grow over when you watch romance anime.
1. MC is wimpy, unsure, constantly is full of himself and thinking about helping Mie instead of actually doing it, after he gets grip with reality he finally does.
2. Comedy repeats again im not against comedy but when they use same trope 18 times in one episode it gets bit boorish.
3. Graphics and animations are nice but constant switching to weird 3D effects is unnecessary sometimes it gets too annoying.
4. You would expect some character development from Komura nope he is same at the end as ...

It has, at the very least, an enjoyable first episode where we see Alicia as a child deciding to become the villainess. If you dont want to see more, coolio, you still got an enjoyable episode or two of anime.
I love this villainess! i just wish we couldve seen more scenes of her actually being one, because the scenes were she was were lovely! I cant believe im saying this, but too much plot! Usually i want more plot because the characters are bad, nope! Not enough character interaction!

I am a webtoon reader, so I know what people dislike about this adaption.
But I honestly don't care what potential this has or what it should/could've been.
This isn't a masterpiece, but I will still recommend it. If you like the story again at a later point, but I will always recommend to consume this story in one way or the other. It's amazing!
Yes I know the animation is lacking and there are some pacing problems, but overall the story is amazing and Arthur is at least for me a good adaption of the "from another world and another life" trope.

Wow. I loved Chainsaw Man more than I thought I would. The characters were simple but well-done, the "camera" angles were very effective, the tension had me wanting to watch more and more. The art was beautiful, the fight scenes were amazing and the story just made sense.
A truly great thing about CSM is the character depth and diversity. Going into this I definitely wasn’t expecting to get yet another remix of Quintessential Quintuplets. Due to the massive success of that series that formula is fairly popular in romcom series these days, and while I’m not opposed to it in general it can easily make for a restrictive and familiar viewing experience if they don’t make the gimmick interesting enough. Mabotai does better than most, choosing to mix in action elements and crank the ecchi levels up a notch from its contemporaries, but at the end of the day it can’t quite escape that feeling of being a derivative work rather than properly cementing

After giving season 1 a 10/10 (to my tastes) I have high hopes for this show.
I give season 2 a 7/10 for solely one reason. No spoilers ahead.
There's a "plot twist" at episode 8 that renders the remaining episodes of the season a complete waste of time as literally nothing of substance happens what so ever. Any toddler can perfectly guess at exactly what happens for the remaining 4 episodes, it is THAT cliche. It honestly feels insulting to have my time wasted by a show I thought had great potential.

The beginning of one of the greatest franchises in anime history.
To talk about the original Pokémon anime is to talk about one of pop culture's most influential works. Even those who have never watched the anime likely know Pikachu, Ash, or some of the most famous Pokémon. It is no wonder the franchise continues to spawn new productions to this day. Its global success was more than deserved, and it all started right here.

Part 1 was mid and part 2 had a horrendous ending but at least there was some blood and gore between the scrolling still frames still frames that alone keeps it from being scored any lower. man Netflix has really enshitified baki what a shame, this was goddamn boring when he wasn't actually slashing limbs which was only 0.1% and I don't mean that fake ghost slashing thing which is classic baki nonsense. which for the record i don't mind as long as paired with some cool fights.

This is horrible. I questioned my own knowledge and understanding while watching this; it's really stupid. As a denpa fan and someone interested in literature, this anime feels like trying to talk to a 13 year old adolescent about life while their biggest problem is their crush rejecting them. I am fairly sure that the writer doesn't even know what they are talking about. some bits makes sense and are disturbing (not in a bad way, considering this is some sort of dark psychological anime), but its flaws are bigger than its good sides for me, so I cannot recommend it. There are way better

I strongly dislike this show. The way she's animated is too overly "pretty" and oddly slow-mobouncy in such an overdone fashion...it's appalling. The way she acts is weird and infantile, and he even thought she was in middle school and didn't actually asked her age? That's a little weird. Sorry but everything about this show pisses me off, and I don't know why. It's just so grossly cliché I can't stand it. The amount of times they apologize too, like honestly it's not that deep. Anyways, that's my mostly baseless review of this show because all I know is it makes me feel gross. Thank

When it comes to this show, I had an amazing time. Seihantai na Kimi to Boku is one that tried desperately to subvert annoying anime tropes, and succeeded in doing so. I had already been well aware of its existence by the trailer's announcement and was firmly impressed with the artstyle, convincing myself Cloverworks somehow snagged another rom-com.

TLDR; Some strong elements here and there but the writing overall is sub-par.
I wanted to like this show more than I did because it does have some strong points but overall the writing really tanks its enjoyability. As a whole it feels very amateur and relies heavily on tropes and cliches. Many times a line or moment will occur as if it is impactful or a hard-learned lesson but it won't have actually had the build-up or process to warrant it. It often feels like these moments are added because it is something 'this kind of story' has done in other works but it ...

This anime is a short webseries available on Youtube.
At first I was put off by its low-framerate 3D animation and its limited expressions at times (despite the beautiful artwork), but the stories ended up being interesting and thougth-provoking, expecially the last ones.
This anime's theme was about finding your true self despite the social pressure, but also about the darker consequences of some of your misplaced wishes.
I'd recommed a watch, if you can withstand some of the artistic flaws.
P.s:
The music of the anime was also quite good.

Well... Hmmm... It's the sort of anime where you reach the last episode and you wonder "why did I watch it?".
It's not bad. The art does the job, without being anything really good. Music is probably there, but well...unremarkable. Performances are okay. The story could be interesting, MC knows she's supposed to be a villain and fights her destiny. And here lies one of the interesting points, she does know and we get glimpses of what should really happen, of how Pride the mc is supposed to act and be evil.
Sure, why not? So, all in all, you could have a pleasant anime, sufficiently well ...

Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria is everything I look for in a fantasy anime. It delivers breathtaking action, emotional storytelling, memorable characters, and incredible animation from beginning to end.
What makes the series stand out is Will Serfort's journey. In a world where magic defines a person's worth, he has none—yet he refuses to give up on his dream. His determination, hard work, and unwavering resolve make him an inspiring protagonist. Every challenge he overcomes feels earned, making his victories genuinely satisfying.

The show starts off with a very good verst episode. All the main characters are very likable and good characters. The show looks nice and the character are drawn very good. They are pleasant to look at and are backed by good writing and good dialogues. The animation is very good and that includes the sports and the subtle facial expressions of the characters. Some of the closeup of the face are very good. The characters are emotionally intelligent and perceptive. This is a sports anime and there is good sportsmanship.

Jack of All Trades, Master of None is a light fantasy adventure that offers an entertaining take on the "underdog" protagonist. Rather than excelling in one extraordinary ability, the main character makes the most of a broad set of average skills, proving that adaptability can be just as powerful as specialization.
The anime is easy to watch, with a steady mix of action, comedy, and character interactions. The protagonist is likable, and the supporting cast adds enough personality to keep the journey enjoyable. The world-building is decent, and the overall atmosphere remains fun without taking itself too seriously.

A much more entertaining surprise than I expected.
I admit I started Mashle without high expectations. I discovered the anime through a YouTube Short, and the idea of a protagonist who solves everything through brute force in a world where everyone relies on magic caught my eye. I found the concept intriguing and decided to give it a shot. Fortunately, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.
It is impossible to watch Mashle without noticing the massive influence of Harry Potter. The magic school, the dormitories, the exams, the social hierarchy based on magical talent, and even certain character archetypes clearly evoke J.K. Rowling’s work. ...

This is a solid adventure show with really good art and animation for the time. Unlike most shows, you can tell that this one actually had a proper budget behind it. However, one huge flaw is that a lot of mysteries in the show are never resolved. Most notably, these include:
- The source of Conan's superhuman strength (the show even has a whole establishing scene for it but it is never followed up later) and Lana's telepathy
- the reason everyone else on Conan's island died.
- pretty much anything on the world pre-apocalypse outside of a few scenes showing how it happened, but not ...

Solid development, but it came too late for me...
My biggest issue with *Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka was never the quality of the work itself, but rather the massive gaps between seasons. I always liked the universe, the characters, and the series' premise, but the delays completely eroded my interest.

Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord is a relaxing fantasy anime that focuses more on kingdom-building and community development than intense battles. Instead of following the usual overpowered hero who defeats enemies one after another, the story revolves around an optimistic lord who uses his unique Production Magic to transform a forgotten village into a thriving fortress.
The anime's biggest strength is its laid-back atmosphere. Watching the territory gradually grow, seeing new buildings appear, and witnessing the relationships between the characters develop is genuinely satisfying. It's not really an 8 but more of in between 8 and 9 but Cowboy Bebop is sure a great anime. No anime carries a charm and identity unlike Cowboy. The breathtaking music and soundtrack having jazz to a sci fi spaghetti mixup with cinema references make sure why it was such a hit in the west. What we see are the usual team of members having similar character tropes in anime. Witch Hat Atelier reminded me that fantasy does not always need grand battles or overwhelming powers to create wonder. don't let yourself get deceived into thinking that this is a rom-com. it's a low-stakes drama about a 15 year old boy acting like a 5 year old because his parents divorced.

Damn this is so good they got the cruel and dark of the medieval times and the story is really good im just glad they did not go the manga route cause that was shit but the story itself is so good cant wait for the next season.
Story and setting is kinda unique but it has tons of parts that is all over mainstream manga.
The art style is just so good with the dark and grimy feel of it especially the armor weapons the clothes and the and the realistic look of the equipment, houses the techniques of inventions.

For an old movie, it's quite good, I guess. What I really didn't like about it was how long a single frame is stretched without much meaning. It feels like its just a slideshow of aesthetic scenes.
Overall animation is great, the vibe is great but it feels like there isn't really much of a story here.
It actually gets a little bit interesting halfway through the movie. Then again it becomes kinda still. Nothing much happens.
It is probably led to the viewer to understand what the meaning of the entire movie is and who the man and the girl is. Nothing is really clarified. Honestly was ...

First of all, fuck Rikako.
Second of all, I don't think this movie is as bad as everyone thinks it is. People look at this movie as if it's a romance, and while you could see it that way, it does take away from what I believe is a beautiful disaster movie.
Rikako being this absolutely hateable figure throughout the entire movie isn't exactly meant to develop her romance with Taku, it sure as hell isn't there to make you like her. This was a surprising series.
I knew it was published in MangaPlus, but I had no idea how the story goes.
How did I find this?
As I said, I know it was published on MangaPlus, so I thought I would approach the series in anime form first.
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
Finding Marriage? And the MC is a man? (Actually, both of the MCs are men.)
Sign me up! I want to see the women's looks. Of course, I would watch it.

Digimon Beatbreak is one of the top Digimon animes currently out there as of now.
It borrows the episodic and mission based pacing of Data Squad, the adult tones of Digimon Tamers and the character development of the original Digimon Adventures, all to create this ironically non-anniversery Digimon series that celebrates everything that Digimon has represented for the last 2 and a half decades.
Digimon Beatbreak won't be the entry point for a lot of newcomers to the series, that will always be Digimon Adventures, Tamers and Fusion; however it is the logical progression from those series. From the updated designs, the increased animation quality, all ...

What a weird concept, and I'm still watching it. To be honest, I wanted to watch this to take a stance. You know why? Pierrot and Bandai collaborated on YouTube to release this anime. Yes, you heard that correctly. This is the very first time a company has released its own anime on its own channel. Wild? It was wild. Then you remember that Akane-banashi also did the same. 😂
Anyway, the reason I watched this is that I wanted to support them. Who knows! They might start releasing even more anime on their channel. That would be great! The convenience of watching anime would be ...

Fruits Basket: Prelude is an absolute masterpiece, even though I had major issues with the first 30 minutes being a total recap and the actual new content feeling relatively short. Despite that frustrating pacing flaw, this movie is easily a perfect 10/10! Centering on the heartbreaking yet deeply inspiring backstory of Tohru’s parents, Kyoko and Katsuya, it delivers a devastatingly beautiful tale of profound healing and unconventional love. Kyoko’s emotional transformation from a lonely delinquent into a devoted mother is intensely moving, elevated by the outstanding art and gorgeous music. The sweet epilogue featuring Tohru and Kyo also offers a heartwarming sense of closure. It

Fruits Basket Season 3, The Final, is easily the absolute best season, delivering a breathtaking and emotionally explosive conclusion to this inspiring masterpiece. All the supernatural mysteries, dark generational trauma, and intricate relationship dynamics built over the years culminate in a powerful, gripping drama. Watching the suffocating zodiac curse finally shatter brought me an immense amount of healing, joy, and tears. Tohru Honda remains our ultimate precious cinnamon roll, showing unmatched empathy, while Yuki’s growth reaches a beautiful, mature resolution. Even Kyo’s raw, agonizing journey completely won me over, making the romance profoundly moving. The outstanding art, beautiful music, and flawless storytelling solidify this legendary

After the heartwarming introduction of Season 1, Fruits Basket Season 2 completely blew me away by diving into much deeper, emotional territory. The beautiful art and music return, but the story transitions from a lighthearted slice of life into a gripping supernatural drama. We see the true, suffocating weight of the zodiac curse and Akito’s terrifying grip on the Soma family. Our precious cinnamon roll Tohru shows incredible strength as she resolves to break the curse, while Yuki undergoes breathtaking personal growth, moving past his quiet shell. Even Kyo’s complex nature becomes deeply sympathetic here. It is an inspiring, breathtaking masterpiece that handles trauma with

As a person who watches a lot of anime, I was initially skeptical when I first caught sight of the alluring, captivating cover image of this series. Having never seen the previous version back in 2001, I am incredibly grateful for my inquisitive decision to watch it that day. All my prior intuitive knowledge of anime ceased to exist when I experienced this inspiring and breathtaking masterpiece. The story brilliantly comprises a mix of genres, with a beautiful slice of life style acting as its main focal point. It masterfully weaves in captivating drama and a supernatural phenomenon that serves as the absolute essence of

an incredible anime that gets the love it absolutely deserves. there may be some that say its overrated but dont believe them. hxh lives up to the hype, and that chimera ant arc was one of the best parts, the way the characters changed over the course of it, the way it beautifully ended. the only reason i didnt rate hxh a 10/10 is because chimera ant arc did drag a little too long, there were some scenes that i feel could have been sped up. overall an incredible experience and am definitely going to get into the manga next.

This is literally gods gift to this world for anyone who got this far into the show. They know it after going through the trenches of nisemonogatari's "schrodingers in**st".
Most unique chet people would see with their own eyes
How this entire series not being categorized as avant garde is beyond anyone and the goat Nisioisin himself

Another season has passed, and unlike the previous one, which felt clunky, cringeworthy, and genuinely dull, this season is at least more eventful by this franchise’s standards. Even so, it still ends in the exact same place: more breadcrumbs, more hesitation, and more of the same “will they, won’t they” dynamic that is clearly being stretched out for yet another season.
At this point, I have to be honest: the series has gone on long enough that I no longer really care who Kazuya ends up with, whether that is Chizuru, Ruka, or no one at all. The story has dragged this central romance out to ...

This anime is amazingly ridiculous, over the top, bizarre and random. It is filled to the brim with magnificent mind blowing action scenes, fanservice for both male and female viewers and tons of humor.
While I wouldn't call the story of this anime 100% original the fact that it is such a ridiculous anime actually helps it a ton to camouflage upcoming plot points. Kill la Kill also has no filler episodes helping it maintain a great pace with every episode. It is also one of those rare animes where I will honestly say that the English dub is of superb 10 out of 10 ...

watched the gigguk video about romance anime and can confirm that this is basically a generic power fantasy isekai with a self-insert protagonist but is romance instead of being transported to another world. i didnt mind the first half, but towards the end i found myself just clicking through the episode because it started to be too much. i think what would have made it better in my opinion is if there was like an actual tension/conflict between the two, no matter how small or easily resolved, instead of Maki's backstory. thinking about it semi critically that was when it lost be because i couldnt

The plot is honestly pretty solid, the characters are enjoyable, distinct, and creative. Show has a lot of its own identity and doesn't just rely on generic settings and tropes. Pacing is nice, and they have a balanced ratio of comedy-action-emotional scenes.
If you're okay with ecchi? I recommend it. If you're *looking* for ecchi? I definitely recommend it. If you're averse to ecchi? best avoid.
But the one thing that makes this stand-out to me? It's the only modern anime I've seen willing to use fanservice like they did back in the 2000s/2010s. It feels like I'm watching Highschool DxD or Infinite Stratos again.
