Great game! The aesthetic is nice and currently I didn't feel like I was waiting or grinding for upgrades except the first 3 minutes until the basement is unlocked. However, it does take a really long time for parties to form and get to the floors. Especially past floor 6.
The Lich seems to be broken, it only raises a [fleshbag] once, ever. I tried destroying the rooms and replacing them, but swapping from kobolds to goblins gave them one skeleton each then never again. I refreshed the page and that gave the goblins 1 more activation of the Lich.
At this stage of the game that's not a breaking issue as the Lich itself is a tough enemy to overcome by itself, but with better equipment and better adventurers it'll be an issue.
Laser grid trap plus giant spiders currently is a terrible combo (from an adventurers perspective). Almost guaranties failed saving throws plus high enough damage that most high level parties can hardly make it past the next room. Maybe with higher level adventurers in the future it won't be so devastating. But as it stands its very OP.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the balance is the mess later on and thanks for pointing out the lich bug.
In the coming build I’ve sped up the adventurers heading into the dungeon and rope speed significantly , so that should be live soon + some more content
thanks for playing!
Congrats! I love how simple and addictive this game is at the same time.
Loved playing this at work while waiting for things to finish running. So addictive!
this desperately needs something to speed up the game. tremendously. this is probably the slowest of idle games. and thats not good. its very much not worth playing if you cant even get through a few minutes without thinking "mm okay time to go find something else instead". it has the slowness of an idle game without the understanding of the premise of an idle game and thus needs an ultra fast speed option
Congrats Tanner, great game, very addictive and fun. Is there an email or way to contact you? Would love to get in touch and chat from one dev to another. Good things!
This is way too adictive
Hello. What is the stairway for ?
for the demo it just represents the “end” point for the demo.
I’m adding additional content above the tavern for the demo update and even more stuff in the full game
I love this! :D
Got everything in one go. This was a genuinely fun game, with some shockingly deep mechanics you can take advantage of to make sure you're always coming out on top. Highly recommend and I can't wait for the full release!
very cute and fun game! I am excited for more!
Very nicely done! Quite fun!
I 100%ed this game in one day, and i give it five stars.
This is a wonderful game. Good work!
An addition that may be beneficial would be a "Back to Tavern" button, as adding a bunch of floors makes it a bit harder to scroll to exactly the tavern. When the floors higher, like above the stairs, get built, it is kind of hard with the scroll speed to have the whole tavern exactly on the screen. I love the scroll speed, so don't change that! But maybe ease of getting to tavern would be beneficial.
This looks like a really appealing game, but it would be great if we could choose whether or not to save our progress. Currently, a local temporary file is created right away. Since browser games can gradually take up a lot of storage space, having the option to opt out of saving—especially when just exploring the demo—would be a wonderful addition. Thanks for considering this feedback!
nice game like the dungeon but it feels limited hope you can grow it in the future
Great game. Keep it up!
Great game, but there's a really annoying bug on web gameplay.
When clicking buttons like sellale, visit shop, etc etc, yo can get stuck in a loop of dialog and have to spam through endless boxes until you're actually able to complete the action.
Will def wishlist and hope the same bug doesn't occur when downloaded
The game is very fun! The graphics are amusing and it has its own unique feeling.
The graphics might be too much being almost single color, maybe try to make it more focusable, the main buttons make them visually different than the passive UI elements.
Gameplay can be focused, I really liked the dungeon aspect, it out-weight the ale aspect. Of course it’s a whole economy management with a linear progression set, so maybe if you want to take it even further you can think about non-linear progressions.
4/5!
I was hooked when I saw how you’d implemented DnD mechanics, getting money at the beginning is a bit tedious but after opening the dungeon the game is so much fun. I’m excited for the full release
Spent half an hour on this and i'm hooked! can't wait for the full release! congrats, this is beautiful and fun!!
lots of fun, added to steam wishlist! one idea for the full version: maybe the color scheme can be changeable, like a simple filter tinting everything in a different hue :)
Really fun!
Game is lots of fun, played in the browser for longer than I intended :)
And I was very surprised today to see it could load my game from 11 days ago, great!
Great game, I had a similar idea (kind of popped out when I was watching Dungeon Meshi, especially the city parts) but worse. I do wonder and look forward to what mechanics will be added in the full release.

Love this. My feedback is that if I rearrange rooms in dungeon floors, that shouldn't cost me extra souls to reload.
I largely agree with you. The only reason it costs you the soul is to prevent the best way to play the game to be: Any time your monster is missing health -> delete and replace them.
It would be a very powerful way to play the game and also annoying to manage. I'll keep thinking about a better solution because I don't like losing the soul as well
When rearranging keep the monster health, maybe even remove the cooldown (but maybe I’m missing something here, that the cooldown is neccessary for).
Deleting and placing would still cost the soul and replenish HP.

insane. awesome game. i really like the concept of having a dungeon under your tavern, very fresh. very well done visually too
I really enjoyed this demo some minor tweaks I would add are different ambiance from the tavern and dungeon.
Solid clicker. Really enjoyed the demo. Looking forward to the full release.
It's a fun concept and I think you hit the right balance between automation and player involvement. My only gripe is i'm not playing it right this second while typing.
TAKE MY GODDAMN MONEY TANNER.
Did a video on it:
Huh,
I see a lotta comments on here disparaging the developer for utilizing what I assume is CLINE or some other coding assistant.
I'm probably less on the "AI is ontologically evil" train and more on the "La problema es el capitalismo" on this stuff, so let me encourage the dev:
First, thanks for disclosing. My primary concern about modern LLM deployments is consent, and being honest about using LLMs is appreciated.
Second, I have some understanding of how machine learning, LLMs, and coding works. I am confident that there is no LLM currently publicly available that spits out perfect code, and both creativity and skill are required to get something workable from an IDE into godot, even with CLINE or CC.
I really enjoyed playing this game. Knowing you utilized an LLM in the development process does not detract from that enjoyment for me.
I think I know why so many people hate on AI. To truly collaborate with AI effectively, you have to provide original input yourself. You need to think independently and creatively, or in the best-case scenario, reason from first principles. Yet, I see many people around me, even those with master's degrees who are completely incapable of doing this. I believe the hatred toward AI touches on something much deeper: the inability to think independently. Because if you can't do that, then yes, AI is indeed a threat. But if you can, it's a complement.
What I've noticed is that the people who scream the loudest often contribute the least.
I see you as a highly qualified person to have a sit-down with sometime, just to chat about these systemic issues. I think we could really help each other out.
Haters gonna hate!
The game is pretty interesting . I honestly enjoy playing it. I would like to see this game in my native language. If you want this game to reach a Russian audience, just contact me. I will localize the game into Russian. No payment needed
You're being downvoted for calling someone sexist and racist for the usage of AI and because of the six characters in the game, none appear to be women or are black.
Could they implement women and non-white people? Yes, and I would love that. Am I going to call them sexist and racist for it? No, what the fuck?
Also, if they're using a free AI, they're not at all contributing to water usage. It's better for the environment for a computer to locally run AI than a game like BG3, for example. As for the stolen material, it's so watered down that you're not really stealing from any one artist, though I do wish a more ethically trained AI was available.
In general, the reason you're being downvoted is you're an ass, not because there's a secret covenant of bigots plotting the demise of art.
“now I'm realizing ya'll are all just sexists and racists”
Rereading it, you didn’t call the developer racist and sexist. Just everyone who defends the developer. Oops, my bad, you still are being downvoted for calling people racist and secist when they’re not.
I'm adding some women AND lizard representation! and I'm calling for a ceasefire. I don't like deleting discussion, but its getting a bit frisky. Working on some non-white people right now!
I honestly think this game has potential, and the core idea is pretty interesting. Yes, there are quite a few bugs right now, but that’s pretty common for indie games. A lot of creators are working on these projects in their spare time while juggling full-time jobs, family responsibilities, or school, so progress and polish can take time.
As for calling it “trash” just because it uses AI, that feels a bit unfair. The tool itself isn’t the problem—it’s how it’s used and what the final result is. Dismissing something outright just because AI was involved seems like a pretty shallow take.
Honestly, for those criticising, how many of you have actually made a full game? And how many of those were completely “handmade”? If you’ve got something to show, feel free to share your work under my comment. I think people who’ve actually built something understand how tough it is.
Was somewhat interested in this… until I learned that's it glorified AI slop. Now I know why it's so buggy!
There is an idea here... I thought it was nice but it's incredibly unbalanced and really doesn't last very long.
I liked the aesthetic, the idea, and the loop.
The serve button gave me carpal tunnel lol.
I didn't care for the dungeon as the way it works is strange and the balance is terrible. You can have Legendary monsters guarding common loot and the adventurers will still repeatedly go in.
Monsters don't heal after the adventurers are defeated.
Adventurers don't have to go through the entire dungeon, just going to the exact floor they want, this is more of a pet peeve because it's how I expect dungeons to work but it's fine.
You can put all legendary monsters in a dungeon, add epic loot, then walk away.
There is an idea here and I want to love it. The game ended too soon.
Game is still unplayably bugged a month after I reported the issue. Adventurers get assigned to a floor but never travel down, which seems to cause a backlog/queue, and then all the adventurers are essentially frozen and the game doesn't progress. I was enjoying the premise of this game, but especially after reading that AI was used, I just lost all interest in this. Such a shame.
please make it work on mobile, or an app
It's bland and goes nowhere.
UI is janky, scroll bars don't reach their ends.
The AI stuff on top of that just seals the deal to not recommend it.
The UI elements are very awkwardly placed and visually unclear, inconsistent palette, lazy visual effects. Humans would've done a better job.
Nice game
It was fun!
thanks! I’m glad you like it
and I don't care if they used AI, the game is very cool, I thought I'd come in for a minute, stayed for a couple of hours.
