Please allow the doors to close
Keep yourselves clear of the closing doors, please
We appreciate your patience: Tuesday's snows

have caused severe delays, our signals froze—
folks, keep your elbows and bags clear of the closing doors, please
you need to allow the doors to close

recent throes of our trains' outmoded motors mean slows
anticipate delays, seek alternate routes if possible, please
the additional accumulation from Monday's snows

is straining our underfunded fleet out of prose—
keep your elbows, baggage, tempers, hopes and dreams clear of the closing doors, please
we can't leave the station until you allow the doors to close

fights and fires on the T, your leaders fall to pose
one train's passengers forced to walk the rails, we say enough, please!
when this next Monday brought two more feet of snows

we closed the rail entire — over face chose
your lives free of the closing doors; please,
please allow the doors to close

(be advised more storms this weekend, brace for snows)

Very nicely done. Sorry to hear that Boston is expecting yet more snow. You guys have just been slammed this winter.

Oh wow. As a pedestrian commuter luckily I don't have to deal with the T (my commute is a long string of narrow passages between shoulder-height snowbanks, and I did get yelled at by a woman on her phone in a huge truck trying to turn left into snow-choked and traffic-snarled Oak Square in Brighton this evening, though), but this delighted me. I love how the wording and word order gets more complex and less coherent towards the end - kind of like life in Boston right now.

Her via my network page.

Love this--so well done. My T commutes resume next week, but I'm not holding my breath that it'll be better then, especially if we end up getting a storm this weekend.
