Round five is now closed to new prompts. It is still open to answering prompts. 

In order to make things a little interesting, I offer up a game that can be played in one of two ways.

1. The ipod Shuffle. Some of you may be familiar with this game. If not, here's how it goes: you put your ipod or mp3 player on shuffle, then use the title of the song (or one of the first five songs) to come up as inspiration for your prompt or story. No, the story doesn't have to be a song fic ;)

2. Below is a list of numbered words. Pick a word at random either using dice, printing the words, cutting them up and putting them in a hat or bucket or something then drawing one, going with the first number to pop into your head - whatever you'd feel comfortable with - and use that word as the inspiration for your prompt or story.

Participation is not mandatory and if you would like to make a regular old request, feel free. You can even pick a word from the list if you'd like. This is just a way to have a bit of fun it you want ;)

We all love it when Merlin breaks out his magic to save the day, so for this round it's going to be all about words. Below will be a list of words and phrases inspired by the episodes to use as prompts (using them is optional).

I don't know about you all but I always find screencaps to be rather inspiring. So this round comes with a little something extra. Beneath the cut, a plethora of pictures to choose from.

You can A) pic a picture as your prompt by putting the picture's number in your request or B) totally ignore the pictures and put whatever request you want or C) if you have a screencap of your own you'd like to use that is not part of the list, you can use that (as long as it is work safe and related to Merlin or one of the cast members).
