Bye, Bye Floral Bliss!

It has come time to say good bye to Floral Bliss. I started my weekly link-up 

the 31st of May in 2016, at that time under the name Flower Wednesday - altogether 31 posts. 

As Floral Bliss there has now been 89 posts, in total 120. This is the last one.

There has been a few loyal participants nearly every week,

but I don’t want you to be obliged. So, I want to thank you all who have participated! 

This time has been fun - but there are so many link-ups around the world to choose from;

I also run out of plants and don’t want to repeat myself. 

Thank you for your company ❤︎ 

I’m sure we’ll meet at other sites. And Floral Passions is not going to disappear!

Quiet, very quiet

the summer flows out of me,

here when I sit on the veranda

and the leaves are falling at their own pace.

In the end, there’s just a slowly moving fog 

and an overwhelming loneliness.

I have three big pots on the terrace stairs. In the early summer there were pansies, 

now chrysanthemums with lime Lysimachia mummularia. I love its lime color! 

This ground cover spends the winter planted into ground. Part shall stay there on the spot 

covering bushes etc., part shall be used again in summer plantings.

Minulla on terassin loivilla portailla kolme isoa ruukkua. Alkukesästä orvokkeja, 

nyt krysanteemeja limenvärisen suikeroalven kanssa. Oi että tykkään sen väristä! 

Talven suikeroalvet viettävät maahan istutettuina. Osa jää maanpeitteeksi niille sijoilleen, 

osa päätyy taas kesäkukkaruukkuihin.

Hiljaa, hyvin hiljaa
valuu kesä minusta pois,
tässä, kun istun verannalla
ja lehdet varisevat omia aikojaan.
Lopulta on vain verkkaan liikehtivä
sumu ja täyttyvä yksinäisyys.

The husband went shopping. I love the color he chose although 

I usually buy ball shaped autumn blooming variety.

Isäntä kävi ostoksilla. Tykkään kovasti hänen valitsemastaan väristä, 

joskin itse tapaan ostaa pallokrysaanteemeja isommissa ruukuissa.
