Jaylen Bryce Clark (Riverside, 13 ottobre 2001) è un cestista statunitense, professionista nella NBA con i Minnesota Timberwolves.
Carriera
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Nell'esperienza universitaria con gli UCLA Bruins[1], durata tre stagioni, si è messo in mostra per le abilità difensive, che lo hanno portato a vincere, nel 2023, sia il NABC Defensive Player of the Year[2], che il Naismith Defensive Player of the Year[3], pur avendo subito, nel mese di marzo, la rottura del tendine di Achille del piede destro.[4]
Nello stesso anno si dichiara per il Draft NBA, venendo selezionato con la cinquantatreesima scelta assoluta dai Minnesota Timberwolves, che lo firmano con un two-way contract nonostante l'infortunio.[5][6][7] Viene dichiarato totalmente guarito nel luglio del 2024[8]; esordisce in NBA il 9 gennaio 2025, nella partita vinta per 104-89 contro gli Orlando Magic.[9]
