Just want you to know that I run Debian Stable on every system I have and the Stretch release has been both long awaited and epic for me. Everything worked beautifully minus a small snag with the mysql -> mariadb conversion. I worked it out :)

Anyway, just want to say to all Debian developers out there: Much respect! Keep doing what you do! The world is a better place because of it.

Steve, the amount you have done and continue to do for Debian is incredible. Quite aside from the work you do on debian-cd, and you've had some huge challenges to overcome there, you are the lynchpin of all Debian activity in the UK. I probably would not have got involved in the project if it weren't for the inclusive and welcoming community that you have basically stewarded since before I met you in around 2005. Don't let the bastards get you down!

Hello, I have seen seen your blog post on the debian planet, I must say I'm very sad to see so much disrespect towards people who try (and succeed ) to do useful things. I have just installed the new debian on my laptop, and everything was perfect, thanks to you and every other contributors.
