zoids_badfics - Don't drink the coffee.

Once upon a time, halfeatenmoon posted a god-awful Zoids yaoi fic in her LJ. We made fun of it, and I suggested we rip off pottersues and make a community about bad Zoids fanfiction. Thus, zoids_badfics was born!

This community exists for the sole purpose of finding and posting terrible Zoids fanfics and laughing at them. You've all seen a bad Zoids fic...the one where Van "dies" and returns months later, or where some Mary Sue with an organoid and a MegagigabladeligerxzeroMkIV shows up out of nowhere, beats up the Blitz team and steals the spotlight, or where Harry Champ suddenly goes berserk and rapes Leena, or where the characters from Zoids are all in highschool and acting totally OOC, or that terrible yaoi fic where Van and Raven suddenly fAlL In wUv, or that one where the author pairs her/himself up with their favourite canon character, or where there's a bunch of DOOM and/or a great big war after the Royal Cup and the Blitz team become soldiers...I'm sure you get the idea by now. Welcome to Zoids Badfics!

For those wondering what the point is...it's really more fandom venting, I suppose. Stress relief, a place to just go AAARGH about all the painful writing out there and how it's worked its way into the Zoids fandom. This isn't a happy fluffy community, though it's kinda discouraged to flame people and stuff.

Be warned, posts may contain brain-melting content including bad romance, bad slash, bad grammar, bad everything...though really painful stuff is usually behind cuts, I'm not responsible for fried brains. Goodness knows mine's imploded a few times.


Remember, when posting fics or bios, DO NOT post the entire thing or large portions of it. See this post for why.

If your fic is up here and you absolutely can't stand it, you can ask us to zap the post. If you have an issue with the person who posted it, poke them directly rather than starting a flamewar. Flamewars only lead to everyone fighting and stuff not getting solved, yes?

Q What's up with the Demonsheads?
A Thanks to deadborder, here on Zoids Badfics, we rate things with Demonsheads, because Demonsheads are bitey. The worse the fic is, the more Demonsheads we feed it to. One Demonshead means a fic is simply annoying, but not terrible. Five Demonsheads is a textual disaster of astronomical porportions.

Q. "Pit of Shrews?" Nooooo! FF.net is "the Pit of Voles!"
A. Not here, it isn't. Shrews are far nastier and biteyer than Voles. And they're venomous. And Shrew sounds nastier then Vole. Hence, we refer to FF.net as The Pit of Shrews here on ZB.
