a while ago i used this thing as a means to share movie reviews i think i'll go back to something similar to that only i'll not only do just movie reviews, but news in general, both global, national, local and if i feel up to it, personal - like when i paid that hooker WAY too much money.
as soon as i post this, i will immediately hit the "post a new entry" button and begin work on the first one - well, i would, but instead i have a better idea
i'll just make a completely new journal
i'll get to work on it, and let you know when it's ready

life has been good
something is slightly, just slightly off
not a big deal though, it's only the most minor of complaints
so if that's the bad, then the good must be exellent! nah, just good
i've had two classes this week i didn't need to attend
i got my first chance to mess around with a FILM camera, not just digital tapes, very exciting stuff
i have a couple of short scripts i'm working on - and i still have my full lengthish idea waiting in the wings for when i'm ready to write it
it's just nice to be back at school, with some buddies, making movies again

This was a hard list to make, since the 25 movies that appear on here were the amazing to pretty good ones, and everything else this year was just sub par or horrible. The ones near the bottom of the list are in no way bad, they're really good films, but from a couple of minor problems keep them from usurping things higher on the list.
Basically that means that once you get into the top 10, or even the top 5-6, it really becomes a multi-way tie/a big grey area as to what i liked better or worse. Any of those films could've been best film any other year. It was really a greatly contrasted year. Some of the best movies ever came out, along with some of the worst. (you'll notice almost all of the worst are either remakes or sequels). There's also a list about what could be the best for the upcoming movies of '07, which looks like it could be an awesome year if it delivers on these titles.
( so here we goCollapse )

i went to visit my highschool today
said hello to some teachers i liked
but other than that it didn't really matter, i wouldn't say i had good or bad memories - there really are none from it
they did paint this one hallway blue, and painted the lockers a sick pink color - that was a little funny
in other news, i ordered something from barnesandnoble.com around tues or wed of last week, and it has yet to ship, hurray ON THE OTHER HAND, i ordered something from fye.com last night, changed my mind about a half an hour later, attempted to cancel, only to find out they had already shipped it. b&n should learn from them
