Comprised of 5 Boston-based acting and film students, Parker House And Theory are undeniably a perfect fit of remarkable musical talent. Each member commands their instrument with delicate control to create a charismatic sound that will keep any audience on their feet. Their diverse music style is difficult to classify as static but it is obvious that the band's chief goal is for their listeners to have fun.
Parker House and Theory has been one of the staples on Emerson College's scene for the last few years, but thanks to a large grass-roots buzz, they have emerged as one of Boston's next generation of acts to watch also due to their diverse musical approach and tight stage dynamic.
Parker House and Theory's soulful jams, bursting melodies and bluesy rock inspires uninhibited dancing and provides pleasure for music-lovers of all types. With a blend of sarcasm and jokes, the band uses their personality along with their musical talent to raise their live show to a different level.
"Our goal right now is to follow in the tradition of other acts that have made major inroads through the grassroots method," says lead guitarist Carlos. "We want to play in as many cities as possible and play out as often as possible. That's how you get the music heard. It may sound corny, but my goal is to go out and make people smile."
