I am extremely proud that @IAGovernor signed HF 847 last night that included my Pledge of Allegiance in schools bill. Starting next school year, all public schools will begin leading their students in the pledge each day! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

HF415, a bill requiring schools to lead students in the pledge of allegiance everyday, passed the Iowa House this week. Iowa is one of just a few states that doesn’t have language in its code regarding the pledge, a list we won’t be on for much longer! #ialegis
