Sunday is when we do beginnings, taking a look at the start of a Peter Abrahams novel, including those written under the Spencer Quinn moniker™. How about we go with NERVE DAMAGE? Its obituary related premise was one of my hookiest in my opinion, although I’m probably wrong since I don’t recall any critics noticing. This first sentence actually applies as well to Mrs. Plansky’s Revenge.
“Sometimes the dead live on in your dreams.”

Greetings!
A profound first line.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Happy First Day of Summer!
Happy Your Day to Peter and WTAFP, the only Dads I know.
Is it summer already? Probably explains why I am too hot with the crocheted afghan on the bed. I guess I should switch to the summer linens.
I have very fond memories and special feelings about Nerve Damage, which was my first stop into the literary world of Peter Abrahams, after discovering that was the true identity of the author I had come to know as Spencer Quinn. And what a ride it has been!
I love those amazing Peter Abraham mysteries! I don’t have them all read yet. I’m trying to space them out to make them last!
Happy Father’s Day to those who are fathers or have been and are a father of the heart.
Our Protege and her Accomplice surprised us with a card. Father’s was scratched out and replaced with Outlaws’.
