A former pupil of St Joseph’s RC High School in Horwich, Mrs Parkinson has been teaching at Our Lady’s since graduating from Leeds Trinity University in 2015.
Originally in charge of Year 2, she is now teaching Year 4 and enjoys working across the school as our Maths and Music lead and Joint Curriculum lead.
Mrs Parkinson has recently become a Teaching for Mastery Maths Hub specialist for the North West region and works as part of our governing body.
Outside of school, she can be regularly found practising yoga, travelling around the globe or tucking into Italian food. She also loves spending time with her friends and family.

Please see our recent posts below, keep checking here for updates on work we are doing in class.
After graduating from Edge Hill University in 2026 with first class honours, Miss Dagnall is excited to become year 4 class teacher and continue her teaching journey here at Our Lady’s.
Miss Dagnall prioritises the creation of a calm and safe learning environment, where all children feel happy, supported and can flourish. At the heart of her teaching philosophy is building and maintaining strong relationships with both pupils and parents.
Outside of school, Miss Dagnall enjoys supporting her local football team Bolton Wanderers. She also loves to travel, keep active at the gym and spend time with her family and friends.
