Those who are familiar with Schiller’s straight-ahead trance productions might be taken aback by Weltreise, an album that is quite varied stylistically, incorporating acoustic guitars, percussion-centric passages, and several ambient interludes. There’s a bit of club material as well, and vocal contributions come from Kim Sanders (on the Stylistics-interpolating “Distance”), Otto Sander, and Isgaard.
