About the book

When you plan revenge, be sure to dig two graves

Two novellas. Two lives changed forever by the need for retribution.

The Torment of Frances Cullen

Frances loves married life. Her husband, her daughters and her beloved home, which she has made so many sacrifices to keep. She socialises with the wives-and-girlfriends mafia of the upmarket Edgehill Gated Community, even though she despises them. It’s what husband Jarvis requires of her.

Sadly, nothing she can do will stop the walls crumbling around her.

When the collapse begins, reason vanishes.

The Content Creator

Jennifer was a journalist, back in the day. Twenty years ago, she presented a local TV show. Now she’s happily single, loving her work as a script editor, her busy social life and her daughter. She’s even friends with ex-husband Tony’s new girlfriend.

Then Tony switches partners yet again. The new lady on the block embodies everything Jennifer detests about new media.

Soon, her resentment of Sook Lee will become an obsession…

Another winner!

So Shall Ye Reap, the second in the revenge series by Terry Tyler is an imaginative as the first.

In Ordinary Joe we meet Joe Carter, currently in Vienna as he travels fairly aimlessly through Europe taking time out to enjoy travelling while deciding what it is he wants to do, or so his parents thought. That was until he received a phone call from longtime friend Ziggy. He persuaded Joe to join him in Brazil, which sets Joe’s life on an altogether different and very dangerous path.

King of the Playground

In King of the Playground we meet Jerry Dawson and Mikkel. Jerry was six when Mikkel’s family moved next door and the two boys became best friends, although over time an undercurrent developed on Jerry’s part. Mikkel was the leader and the most popular boy at school, especially with the girls. As time moves on and they reach adulthood Jerry wants to be as popular as Mikkel and he begins to feel resentful. Mikkel breezes through life seemingly unaware of his magnetism and as much as Jerry tries he can’t help the issues and feelings plaguing him from building.

As always, the characters are fully realised, with distinct, complex and multi layered personalities. The stories showcase a myriad of the human flaws and emotions that Terry Tyler excels at. The settings are also described vividly.

Two completely differing and unsettling stories peopled by characters who are driven by exploitation, envy, feelings of inadequacy, anticipation and psychological manipulation. I had no idea how these stories would play out but the endings, when they came, were perfect.
