“Connect to Google Search Console” on Site Health Status

    Hello,

    Generally love AIOSEO but have a pet peeve: after going thru the “SEO Checklist” and marking the “Connect with Google Search Console” task as “Complete” it continues to appear in the WordPress Site Health Status list as a “Recommended Improvement”.

    This is annoying. Not all webmasters want to connect their site to Google Search Console and when the “Connect with Google Search Console” task is manually marked as complete I expect not to be bothered by that any longer. It’s especially annoying for those that have clients, see the “recommended improvement”, and ask why it hasn’t been done.

    Could AIOSEO by tweaked such that when the “Connect with Google Search Console” task is marked as complete, that the annoying inclusion of that task in the WordPress Site Health Status list be removed.

    Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying AIOSEO overall.

    I completely understand your point. If you’ve intentionally decided not to connect Google Search Console and have already marked that item as complete in the SEO Checklist, it can certainly be frustrating to continue seeing the same recommendation appear in WordPress Site Health, especially when clients or other team members question why it remains there.

    That makes a lot of sense.

    I’ve gone ahead and submitted this as a feature request to our team so we can discuss whether the Site Health recommendation should also be dismissed when the corresponding SEO Checklist item has been manually marked as complete.

    While I can’t guarantee implementation details or a specific timeline, this is something we’ll review internally and consider for a future release of AIOSEO.

    Shivam Tyagi!

    When connecting to Goole Search Consol, a message is displayed for authorization and confirmation of my site:

    “The following error occurred during authentication:

    Your site did not successfully authenticate with AIOSEO. If you contact our support team, we will be happy to help diagnose and resolve this issue.”

    But I have been confirmed as the owner on Google Search Console for a long time. Help me set up my audition, please!
