Admin in English plugin is not compatible with WordPress Language?

The plugin works as advertised, great feature!

One thing though. For a Chinese site I am developing I thought it would be a good idea to use WordPress Language, but as I don’t actually read Mandarin, I also installed the Admin in English plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-in-english/).

This however does not seem to work very well together. Is there anything that can be done to have an English Dashboard for languages that the developer cannot read?
